      Pena went 3-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and a run scored in Sunday's win against the Orioles.

      Advice: Pena hit an RBI double in the first inning before knocking a two-run double in the sixth. He'd been stuck in a 6-for-49 (.122) slump since his last multi-hit game June 5. Pena's homerless drought has now reached 31 games, and he's attempted only one steal in his last 15 contests.     • Pablo López strikes out 14 in victory over A’s
      Pablo López delivered his finest start of the season on Sunday, racking up 14 strikeouts over eight innings of shutout baseball in a victory over the Athletics.

      Advice: López allowed just two hits — both of them singles — and one walk on the brilliant afternoon. The 28-year-old hurler bounced back in a huge way after being shelled by the Rays his last time out, looking like the star hurler that we saw dominating on a nightly basis for the Twins during the 2023 campaign. He piled up 19 swings and misses on 102 pitches in the contest — 10 of those on his fastball alone — while posting a CSW of 31 percent. He’ll see if he can build off of this start and further improve upon his 5.11 ERA and 1.17 WHIP when he takes the mound against the Mariners in Seattle on Saturday. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:18 pm
       
    • Webb recovers from rough start in loss
      Logan Webb allowed four runs on nine hits in six innings in a loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

      Advice: The game started off on the wrong foot for Webb, who allowed three runs on four hits in the first inning and then allowed another run on two more hits in the second. Over his final four innings, he didn’t allow a run, while giving up just three hits and striking out four. Webb may be more of an SP2 in fantasy baseball than the ace many wanted him to be coming into this year, but he’s a rock-solid starter who will carry a 3.16 ERA into a tough start against the Dodgers next weekend.     • Jordan Westburg homers (again) in loss
      Jordan Westburg went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Astros on Sunday.

      Advice: Just like on Saturday, Westburg homered but the Orioles offense couldn’t do much else. Westburg now has 13 home runs and 45 RBI so far on the season; however, he did also strike out twice on Sunday and his batting average is down to .277 on the season. Westburg swings often so it doesn’t always matter that he swings and misses a lot, but he will have stretches where those whiffs drag the batting average down a bit.     • Jarren Duran goes 3-for-5, swipes 20th bag in win
      Jarren Duran went 3-for-5 with a double, two RBI and a stolen base Sunday as the Red Sox bested the Reds 7-4.

      Advice: It’s great to have Duran running like this again. He opened the season with six steals in six games, totaled five in his next 57 games and now has nine in his last 15 games. He’s tied for sixth in the majors with his 20 steals. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:30 pm
       
    • Nick Lodolo takes first loss since May
      Nick Lodolo lost to the Red Sox after yielding four runs — three earned — in 4 2/3 innings Sunday.

      Advice: Lodolo hadn’t allowed more than two runs in winning five straight starts since returning from the IL, but he didn’t have quite the same stuff today. With his curveball a little off, he settled for seven missed swings in the 77-pitch outing. He also walked four. He’ll look to start a new winning streak next weekend against the Cardinals; that’s the team he beat a month ago to begin the one that concluded today. Rotoworld Sunday, 2:30 pm

    • Limited by blister
      Lodolo was limited Sunday versus the Red Sox as a result of a blister on his left index finger, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

      Advice: Lodolo tossed 4.2 innings, allowing four runs (three earned) on five hits and four walks while striking out three batters against Boston. The left-hander was tagged with the loss, while the four free passes were a season high, which is likely the result of the blister on his throwing hand. Following the contest, Lodolo said that "the feeling for the ball was not the same," but that it's "not impacting him a ton," so it's possible he'll be ready to go for his next start.     • Demolishes 23rd homer
      Ohtani went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's win over the Angels while also drawing a walk.

      Advice: Ohtani jumped on a hanging slider from Zach Plesac in the third inning and launched it 459 feet into the stands in right-center field for his 23rd home run of the season. The superstar slugger has now homered in three consecutive games and has collected at least one RBI in seven straight.       Lourdes Gurriel Jr. (elbow) has returned to the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Phillies.

      Advice: Gurriel is back in Arizona’s lineup to face Phillies southpaw Cristopher Sánchez during Sunday’s series finale following a brief one-game absence due to left elbow soreness.
