    • India has two hits, two steals in loss
      Jonathan India went 2-for-2 with two walks, three runs scored, and two steals in a loss to the Pirates on Tuesday.

      Advice: India is enjoying a tremendous month of June, going 26-for-72 (.361) with two home runs, 15 runs scored, and three steals. India has also been leading off since TJ Friedl went on the IL, which is more good news for his fantasy value.     • George Springer finds power stroke in win
      George Springer went 3-for-5 with a two-run home run in a 9-4 win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

      Advice: It was Springer’s sixth home run of the season and first since June 4th. Springer only has three home runs since April 24th, so we’re not looking at a power surge here. It’s also Springer’s first multi-hit game since June 3rd. It’s certainly nice to see, but the 34-year-old is still just 13-for-78 (.167) in June so we’ll need to see a few more games like this before we believe he’s figuring things out.     • Vlad Jr. has four RBI in win over Red Sox
      Vladimir Guerrero Jr. went 2-for-5 with four RBI in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

      Advice: Vlad Jr. drove in two on a double in the third inning and then drove in two more on another double in the fourth inning. He now has 40 RBI on the season and has been far and away the Blue Jays’ best hitter this season. He also made two bad errors in the field, but that doesn’t count for most fantasy leagues.     • Gausman has quality start against Red Sox
      Kevin Gausman allowed four runs (three earned) on five hits in six innings in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

      Advice: Gausman struck out five and walked one on the day but did allow two home runs, which accounted for all but one of the runs scored against him. The 33-year-old’s fastball averaged 94 mph on the day, which is up from his season average and he got seven whiffs on 24 swings on that pitch. However, he was only able to get 10 whiffs overall on the day for a 20 percent whiff rate and 25 percent CSW. He had just a 38 percent zone rate on the splitter, and he’s been struggling to get whiffs on that pitch over the last few starts.     • Gavin Williams (elbow) to make another rehab start
      Gavin Williams (elbow) will make another minor league rehab start on Wednesday.

      Advice: Williams got his pitch count up to 66 during his most recent rehab outing last Friday for Double-A Akron when he struck out four and allowed one run over five innings and now appears to be getting close to making his season debut. The 24-year-old former top pitching prospect has been on the shelf since spring training recovering from a right elbow injury. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:10 pm
       
    • Sidelined at least four weeks
      Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Tuesday that Marte (knee) will be sidelined for "at least four weeks," Mike Puma of the New York Post reports.

      Advice: Marte will be shut down for 15 days to allow a right knee bone bruise to heal and will need time to ramp things back up after that. A rehab assignment at some point before activation seems likely. Ben Gamel replaced Marte on the roster and could see some reps in right field, although DJ Stewart and Tyrone Taylor should be higher in the pecking order.       Mets manager Carlos Mendoza told reporters Starling Marte (knee) is expected to miss at least four weeks.

      Advice: It’s a significant loss for the Mets as Marte finally landed on the injured list ahead of Tuesday’s series opener against the Yankees after playing through a right knee issue for an extended period. The 35-year-old veteran corner outfielder has been diagnosed with a bone bruise and Mendoza indicated that it’ll be at least one month before he’s ready to return.
