    Iglesias picked up the save in Sunday's 6-3 win over the Padres, tossing a clean ninth inning while striking out a batter in the process.

    Advice: Iglesias was able to preserve a three-run lead for Atlanta and help the team go into the break on a positive note. He began with a strikeout against Kyle Higashioka before retiring David Peralta and Jurickson Profar on a pair of lineouts. Iglesias hasn't allowed a run in each of his last eight appearances and last blew a save back on May 3. The 34-year-old isn't striking out as many batters as he has throughout his career but is still posting superb numbers.     Singer was saddled with the loss Sunday, allowing four runs on eight hits and a walk over 2.2 innings against the Red Sox. He struck out three.

    Advice: Singer couldn't put things together Sunday, allowing separate two-run homers in each of the first and second innings, then loading the bases in the third prior to being pulled. It was the shortest outing of the season for Singer, who entered the contest having allowed only one earned run during each of his previous four starts.     Donovan went 3-for-3 with a walk, a stolen base and a run scored in Sunday's 8-3 loss to the Cubs.

    Advice: Donovan has six multi-hit efforts over 13 games in July, going 18-for-52 (.346) in that span. The steal was his first since June 26 and his third of the campaign. The 27-year-old is up to a .276/.345/.411 slash line with eight home runs, 45 RBI, 43 runs scored, 22 doubles and one triple over 91 contests this season.     Brady Singer was tagged for four runs and eight hits in 2 2/3 innings by the Red Sox on Sunday.

    Alec Burleson went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Cubs on Sunday.

    Advice: Burleson took Jameson Taillon deep in the sixth inning for his 17th home run of the season to go along with 53 RBI and a .288/.320/.494 triple slash. He was an afterthought in the Cardinals’ outfield heading into the season but has proven to be a more than capable MLB starter.
