    Devers went 2-for-4 with a double, a solo home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 9-4 loss to the Blue Jays.

    Advice: He took Kevin Gausman deep in the second inning and nearly did it again in the sixth, but his blast to the deepest part of the center field triangle at Fenway Park ended up being a double due to fan interference.   • Notches sixth win
    Gausman (6-6) picked up the win Tuesday in a 9-4 victory over the Red Sox, giving up four runs (three earned) on five hits and a walk over six innings. He struck out five.

    Advice: A Vladimir Guerrero error let Gausman squeak out his seventh quality start of the season, but the rest of the damage off the right-hander came on a Rafael Devers solo shot in the second inning and a two-run blast over the Green Monster by Tyler O'Neill in the sixth. Gausman has been taken deep eight times in his last five outings, a stretch in which he's stumbled to a 4.45 ERA despite a 1.11 WHIP and 28:6 K:BB through 32.1 innings.     Advice: Mountcastle has four multi-hit efforts over his last seven games, going 11-for-28 (.393) in that span. While he hasn't hit a homer since June 7, he's still been consistent at the plate while occupying a starting role at first base.     Rafael Devers went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a loss to the Blue Jays on Tuesday.

    Advice: Devers’ home run was an absolute shot, traveling 467 feet at 111.2 mph. He also had a 112.6 mph double later in the game.   • Gausman has quality start against Red Sox
    Kevin Gausman allowed four runs (three earned) on five hits in six innings in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

    Advice: Gausman struck out five and walked one on the day but did allow two home runs, which accounted for all but one of the runs scored against him. The 33-year-old’s fastball averaged 94 mph on the day, which is up from his season average and he got seven whiffs on 24 swings on that pitch. However, he was only able to get 10 whiffs overall on the day for a 20 percent whiff rate and 25 percent CSW. He had just a 38 percent zone rate on the splitter, and he’s been struggling to get whiffs on that pitch over the last few starts.   • ATL-STL postponed Tuesday
    Lopez won't face the Cardinals on Tuesday after the game was postponed due to inclement weather, Katie Woo of The Athletic reports.

    Advice: Tuesday's game will be made up Wednesday as part of a doubleheader, and Lopez will get the nod to start the earlier of the two games. The 30-year-old righty hasn't allowed an earned run in 11 innings over his last two starts and will be facing a Cardinals offense that currently ranks 10th in the NL with a .687 OPS.     Riley Greene hit an RBI triple on Tuesday, propelling the Tigers to a 4-1 win over the Phillies.

    Kyle Tucker (shin) progressed to taking swings on Sunday and could resume running within the next few days.

    Advice: The revelation comes courtesy of a team statement. It’s a welcome relief for fantasy managers as we were honestly starting to wonder whether Tucker was dealing with something more serious than merely a shin contusion. He’ll need at least a couple minor league rehab contests to get back up to speed after he’s ready to get back into game action, but it doesn’t sound like he’s too far away from making it back to Houston.     Tucker (shin) took swings off a tee Sunday and could be cleared to begin running soon, Chandler Rome of The Athletic reports.

    Advice: Tucker's recovery from a right shin contusion has dragged on longer than anticipated, but it looks like he's finally turned a corner as he resumes baseball activities. He's more than three weeks removed from suffering the injury and still has some hoops to jump through, so he could require a rehab assignment before rejoining the Astros' active roster.
