    • Corbin Burnes to start All-Star Game
Corbin Burnes will start for the American League in the All-Star Game.

Advice: We’re guessing he’ll just go one, but Burnes was the last pitcher to throw more than one inning in the All-Star Game; he worked the second and third behind Max Scherzer for the NL In 2021, giving up two runs and taking the loss. Paul Skenes was already announced as the NL starter. Rotoworld Today, 1:09 pm
    • On base four times Sunday
Lindor went 2-for-3 with two walks and an RBI in Sunday's loss to the Rockies.

Advice: The veteran shortstop heads into the All-Star break on a tear. Lindor got on base 10 times in 15 plate appearances during the three-game series against Colorado, and over his last 25 contests he's slashing .314/.397/.549 with nine doubles, five homers, seven steals, 18 RBI and 20 runs. • Struggles with command
Lodolo yielded two runs on three hits and four walks over 4.2 innings in a no-decision Sunday. He struck out four during the loss to Miami.

Advice: Lodolo kept the Marlins off the board through four innings before Jonah Bride knocked a two-run single in the fifth. Lodolo has failed to complete five frames in three straight outings since his win in Pittsburgh on June 18. During that three-start span, he's produced a lackluster 11:9 K:BB over 13 innings. Lodolo finishes his first half with a strong 3.33 ERA and 81:24 K:BB through 78.1 frames. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:02 pm

    • Jarren Duran goes 4-for-5, doubles in Boston’s win
Jarren Duran finished 4-for-5 as the Red Sox edged the Royals 5-4 on Sunday.

Advice: Included was his 27th double of the year. He’s tied for third in the majors there while also sporting a league-high 10 triples. Duran will take with him a .284/.342/.477 line as he heads to his first All-Star Game. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:54 pm

    • Lodolo struggles with command against Miami
Nick Lodolo allowed two runs on three hits in 4 2/3 innings while walking four in a no-decision against the Marlins.

Advice: Lodolo got ahead of hitters often, starting 15 of the 19 batters he faced with a first-pitch strike; however, he struggled to put people away. He did strike out four on the day, but he also had just a 49 percent zone rate overall and had a hard time locating anything other than his fastball. He’ll carry a 3.33 ERA into a start against the Nationals on Sunday after the All-Star break. If he can recapture his command, he should have a solid second half of the season. • Resting in series finale
Hoskins is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Nationals.

Advice: He'll get a breather for the series finale after starting at first base in the first two games against Washington while going 1-for-8 with a double, two RBI and a run. Jake Bauers will spell Hoskins at first base Sunday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:47 am

    • Goes three innings in rehab start
Kershaw (shoulder) tossed three scoreless and hitless innings for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, allowing one walk and striking out five batters.

Advice: Kershaw was impressive in the outing, allowing just one baserunner while throwing 38 pitches before tossing another 12 pitches in the bullpen after the start, according to Bill Plunkett of The Orange County Register. The veteran lefty made his second minor-league rehab appearance, and his first since June 19. Kershaw also went three innings in his initial rehab outing but experienced soreness in a subsequent bullpen session and was temporarily shut down from throwing. Per Jack Harris of the Los Angeles Times, Dodgers manager Dave Roberts said that he received positive reports on Kershaw's outing, and the 36-year-old is set to cover 4-to-5 innings in another rehab appearance with Oklahoma City on Friday. If that goes well, Kershaw could return from the 60-day injured list the following week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:33 am

    • Kershaw (shoulder) strikes out five in rehab start
Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) struck out five batters over three scoreless frames Saturday in a rehab start with Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Advice: Kershaw walked one batter and didn’t give up a hit. He threw 23 out of 38 pitches for strikes and struck out the side in the second inning, so the Dodgers have to be thrilled at his progress from shoulder surgery. He’s slated to make another rehab start next Friday, and it’s possible he could be ready to rejoin the Dodgers from there. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:29 am

    • Clubs clutch homer
Lindor went 1-for-3 with a three-run home run, a stolen base and two walks Saturday in a 7-3 win against Colorado.

Advice: New York was hanging onto a one-run lead in the bottom of the eighth inning when Lindor slugged a 420-foot, three-run home run to center field. The long ball was his fourth through 13 games in June and his 17th overall this season. Lindor also swiped his 18th bag of the campaign in the contest, and he's one of seven major leaguers with at least 15 homers and 15 thefts so far in 2024. Rotowire.com Saturday, 10:21 pm
