    • Taking seat against LHP
O'Hearn is absent from the starting lineup for Tuesday's game against the Guardians, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.

Advice: As per usual, O'Hearn will be held out of the lineup with the Orioles facing a southpaw, as Logan Allen takes the mound for Cleveland on Tuesday. O'Hearn is riding a five-game hit streak, batting 7-for-22 with eight RBI during that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:44 am

    • Goes deep in loss
Garcia went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a walk in Monday's loss to the Brewers.

Advice: Garcia gave the Rangers a 3-1 lead with his sixth-inning blast, though the advantage was wiped out on a Rhys Hoskins grand slam in the bottom of the frame. As with Hoskins, Garcia's homer ended an extended power drought -- the outfielder hadn't gone deep in any of his past 17 games and had driven in just one run during that span. Garcia is tied for the Rangers' lead with 14 long balls on the season, but he's below pace to match the 39 homers and 107 RBI he racked up last year. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:51 pm
    • Swipes bag in loss
Hoerner went 2-for-4 with a walk, one stolen base and one run scored in Monday's 5-4 loss to the Giants.

Advice: Hoerner hasn't hit all that well in June (.194), but he's logged six steals over 19 contests this month. The infielder is up to 12 thefts on 14 attempts for the season, providing speed atop the Cubs' lineup. He's added a .241/.331/.327 slash line with two home runs, 18 RBI, 36 runs scored, 14 doubles and a triple over 70 contests. Rotowire.com Monday, 11:08 pm

    • Jurickson Profar wins game in 10th for Padres
Jurickson Profar delivered the game-winner in the 10th as the Padres edged the Nationals 7-6 on Monday.

Advice: Profar’s lone hit in five at-bats seemed to hang in the air forever, but it was put in the perfect spot to elude Lane Thomas and Jacob Young in right-center. The two-run single — it would have been at least a double under normal circumstances — came after Luis Arraez was walked to load the bases. Profar has hit in eight straight games, but since he’s collected just nine hits in that span and he’s been so productive on the season, he’s lost 20 points of OPS during the stretch (.917 to .897). • Bryan Reynolds pushes hit streak to 21 straight
Bryan Reynolds extended his hitting streak to 21 consecutive games on Monday in the Pirates’ loss to the Reds.

Advice: Reynolds went 2-for-4 with an RBI and also drew a walk, reaching base safely in three of his five plate appearances in a one-sided affair. The 29-year-old outfielder is batting .315 (39-for-124) with seven homers and one steal over his last 30 games. Rotoworld Monday, 7:18 pm
    • Triston Casas undergoes MRI to gauge progress
Triston Casas received an MRI Monday to check up on the progress of the torn cartilage in his ribs.

Advice: The hope is that he’ll get the all-clear to ramp up his workouts. If that’s the case, then a return before the end of next week might be possible. Rotoworld Monday, 2:37 pm

    • Taking seat Monday
Ortiz is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers.

Advice: Ortiz had started each of the previous 10 contests but will begin this one on the bench. Andruw Monasterio will cover third base while Ortiz gets some rest. Rotowire.com Monday, 2:17 pm

    • Maikel Garcia leads off, shifts to second base
Maikel Garcia is back in the leadoff spot and playing second base for the Royals on Monday.

Advice: It’s the first time Garcia has played anywhere other third this year, but the Royals just called up a third baseman in CJ Alexander and have Michael Massey apparently limited to DH at the moment. As a result, Garcia will get to show his versatility. The return to the leadoff spot is also good news; he had led off throughout the season before being dropped to seventh on Saturday and eighth on Sunday. Considering that he has a .291 OBP, there’s no blaming the Royals for making the switch. Still, he remains a better bet than the alternative options to bat ahead of Bobby Witt Jr. Rotoworld Monday, 2:07 pm

    • Gets MRI to check healing
Casas received an MRI on Monday to check the healing of his injured ribs, Alex Speier of The Boston Globe reports.

Advice: The results aren't expected to be known until Tuesday, but Casas noted that he's feeling good and should have a "quick turnaround" before he resumes swinging a bat, per Gabrielle Starr of the Boston Herald. Casas has been doing some baseball activities but hasn't progressed as quickly as hoped. He's continuing to aim for a return from the 60-day injured list early next week, but even if the MRI yields favorable results, Casas could still face an uphill battle to make it back by his target date.
