    • Not playing in All-Star Game
Correa (heel) was removed Monday from the American League All-Star Game roster and was replaced by the Rangers' Corey Seager, the Associated Press reports.

Advice: Though Correa is still expected to attend All-Star festivities in Arlington, Texas this week, his removal from the roster comes as little surprise after he missed the Twins' final two games before the break due to plantar fasciitis in his right heel. Dan Hayes of The Athletic relays that Correa's latest case of plantar fasciitis isn't as severe as his bout with the injury to his left foot during 2023 season, but it's not yet clear whether Correa will be back in action when the Twins return to action Saturday versus the Brewers. • Clubs clutch homer Sunday
Rice went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in a loss to the Orioles on Sunday.

Advice: Rice was hitless through four at-bats but came through when it mattered most, swatting a three-run homer in the ninth inning off Baltimore closer Craig Kimbrel to give New York a 5-3 lead. That result didn't hold, as the Orioles plated three runs in the bottom of the frame to pull out the victory, but Rice's heroics still stand out. While the rookie is batting just .228 on the campaign, he's shown a flair for the big moment, batting .280 with runners in scoring position and already adding a three-homer game to his big-league resume. • Aaron Judge to bat cleanup for AL All-Stars
Aaron Judge will bat cleanup for the American League in Tuesday’s All-Star Game.

Advice: It seems Bruce Bochy disagrees with Aaron Boone in using Judge as a No. 2 hitter. He has Judge batting behind Steven Kwan, Gunnar Henderson and Juan Soto on Tuesday, so unless someone gets on base, we’ll miss out on a Paul Skenes-Judge matchup. Rounding out the lineup behind Judge will be Yordan Alvarez, José Ramírez, Vladimir Guerrero Jr., Adley Rutschman and Marcus Semien. Rotoworld Monday, 1:12 pm

    • Slugs pair of homers
Tovar went 3-for-4 with two two-run home runs during Sunday's 8-5 win over the Mets.

Advice: Tovar chipped in two of the Rockies' six long balls Sunday, launching two-run homers off Jose Quintana in the first inning and Adrian Houser in the seventh. After going hitless in 28 at-bats to start July, Tovar is 11-for-25 since, with three doubles, five RBI and four runs scored. Despite the cold spell, the 22-year-old is slashing .274/.302/.462 with 14 home runs, 46 runs, 42 RBI and four stolen bases at the All-Star break. Rotowire.com Sunday, 9:25 pm

    • Taylor Ward goes 0-for-3, in 6-for-49 slump
Taylor Ward went 0-for-3 and struck out twice versus the Mariners on Sunday.

Advice: Ward is definitely ready for the break. He’s 6-for-49 with one RBI and 20 strikeouts in his last 13 games, dropping his OPS from .773 to .713, and he’s been stuck on 14 homers since June 25. Rotoworld Sunday, 5:49 pm

    • Zac Gallen gets clobbered in first half finale
Zac Gallen was absolutely clobbered in a no-decision against the Blue Jays on Sunday afternoon, giving up seven runs (six earned) on nine hits in just 3 2/3 innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander walked one and struck out just one batter in the ballgame. The Blue Jays had scratched out just an unearned run against him through the first three frames, but the wheels fell off for Gallen in the fourth inning. There, the Jays’ scored on run-scoring singles by Daulton Varsho and Ernie Clement before they opened it up with a grand slam off the bat of Kevin Kiermaier. Gallen got just four swings and misses on 70 pitches in the game, registering a CSW of 26 percent. He finishes his first half with a 6-5 record, 3.87 ERA, 1.21 WHIP and a 76/21 K/BB ratio over 76 2/3 innings in his 15 starts. Rotoworld Sunday, 4:15 pm

    • Not ready for start of second half
Manager Aaron Boone said that Stanton (hamstring) won't be reinstated from the 10-day injured list when the Yankees open their second-half schedule Friday versus the Rays, but the 34-year-old could be activated soon thereafter, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Additionally, the skipper said that the Yankees remain undecided on whether will need to complete a minor-league rehab assignment before returning from the IL. Stanton was placed on the IL on June 23 with a left hamstring strain and was projected to miss around four weeks, and that timeline still looks to be accurate now that he's hit the three-week mark in his recovery process. Stanton will continue his rehab program during the All-Star break and could bypass a rehab assignment if the Yankees feel comfortable with how his hamstring is responding to live batting practice and pregame running. Fantasy managers shouldn't plan on Stanton being available for the start of the four-game series with the Rays, but a return from the IL the week after looks realistic. • Launches two homers in win
Morel went 2-for-4 with two home runs and three RBI in Sunday's 8-3 win over the Cardinals.

Advice: Morel hit a two-run blast in the sixth inning and a solo shot in the eighth to pad the Cubs' lead in the contest. This was his first multi-hit effort since June 22, though he's hit safely in 10 of 12 games in July, batting .229 (11-for-48) for the month. Overall, Morel has 18 long balls, 50 RBI, 42 runs scored and seven stolen bases through 96 contests, though he's slashing a light .202/.303/.387 on the year. Rotowire.com Sunday, 3:48 pm

    • Falters into sixth win
Kimbrel (6-2) blew a save but picked up the win Sunday, allowing three runs on one hit and two walks over one inning against the Yankees. He struck out one.

Advice: Kimbrel came on in the ninth looking for his 24th save but quickly blew that opportunity by allowing a couple of walks followed by a three-run homer by Ben Rice. To his credit, Kimbrel then retired the next three batters, making him the pitcher of record when the Orioles completed their own comeback in the bottom of the inning. Despite Sunday's outing, Kimbrel has been highly effective in his first season with the Orioles, entering the All-Star break with six wins, 23 saves, a 2.80 ERA, a 0.96 WHIP and 53 strikeouts in 39 appearances spanning 35.1 innings.
