For the season, he's up to six homers in 75 contests, matching his total form 115 games a year ago. He's added a .281/.325/.408 slash line with 31 RBI, 22 runs scored and three stolen bases. He had exclusively hit in the bottom third of the order, but he was batting leadoff for Saturday's contest -- a move up the order would likely lead to better overall production if he can stay there.       Carlos Correa went 3-for-6 with an RBI and run scored in a blowout win over the Athletics on Saturday.

      Advice: Correa had three of the Twins’ 16 hits on a day where Minnesota dominated from start to finish. The 29-year-old has been spectacular in the month of June, and this makes six games with at least three hits in that period.       Advice: Tovar was stuck in a small 1-for-18 slump over his previous five games before Friday's strong performance. He put the Rockies on the board with a solo shot in the third inning, giving him 12 homers this year and four in his last 13 contests.       Advice: The Rockies were able to pick up three homers off DJ Herz, and Tovar hit a solo shot off Herz in the third for his 12th homer of the year. The 22-year-old shortstop has put together a very strong first half of 2024 in his second full season with a .280 average, 799 OPS and 36 RBI.       Advice: Correa played a massive role in winning Game 1 -- he opened the scoring with a two-run homer in the first inning and added a solo shot in the fourth. He was steady again in Game 2, though without the same level of power on display. The shortstop has eight multi-hit efforts over his last 11 contests, going a stunning 24-for-47 (.511) in that span. He was hitting .247 the game before the surge started, but he's up to .308 now with an .878 OPS, eight homers, 35 RBI, 34 runs scored and no stolen bases through 54 contests this season.
