      Advice: Kim tagged rookie right-hander Carlos Rodriguez for his two-out, 374-foot (97.5 mph EV) solo shot in the fourth inning — extending the Padres’ advantage to 4-0. Kim also singled and rode home on Kyle Higashioka’s two-run blast in the seventh inning, finishing the night 2-for-3.       Advice: Smith’s home run was his sixth of the year. He’s 15-for-37 (.405) with three home runs, eight RBI and a stolen base in his last 13 games. Smith has stood out on the Rangers offense and found his way to the No. 3 spot in the lineup.       Royce Lewis homered and went 1-for-4 with a solo homer in a loss to the Athletics on Friday.

The third baseman would also add a single, giving him his third multi-hit performance in his last four games.
