    • Ha-Seong Kim goes deep in victory over Brewers
Ha-Seong Kim crushed his 10th home run of the season as the Padres triumphed over the Brewers on Saturday evening in San Diego.

Advice: Kim tagged rookie right-hander Carlos Rodriguez for his two-out, 374-foot (97.5 mph EV) solo shot in the fourth inning — extending the Padres’ advantage to 4-0. Kim also singled and rode home on Kyle Higashioka’s two-run blast in the seventh inning, finishing the night 2-for-3. For the season, the slick-fielding 28-year-old is now hitting .220/.331/.390 with 10 long balls, 36 RBI and 15 stolen bases. Rotoworld Today, 7:00 pm

    • Eflin goes seven, allows four in loss to Pirates
Zach Eflin allowed four runs in seven innings and got the loss against the Pirates on Saturday.

Advice: Eflin gave up five hits, walked one and struck out six. This was the longest of Eflin’s four starts since coming off the injured list and his second start in a row with at least six strikeouts. His ERA on the season is now 4.20. It’s safe to say Eflin hasn’t been able to repeat his breakout season last year when he won 16 games with a 3.50 ERA. The 30-year-old right-hander is set to face the Nationals at home next weekend.

    • Zach Eflin gives up four over seven against PIT
Zach Eflin gave up four runs in seven innings while being charged with a loss Saturday to the Pirates.

Advice: Eflin struck out six while issuing one walk. The 30-year-old right-hander gave up a long homer to Oneil Cruz in the first, and then gave up three runs in the third before settling down nicely. It was far from an abhorrent start, but Jared Jones was the better starter Saturday afternoon. Eflin now has a 4.20 ERA and (much more impressive) 63/6 K/BB through his 81 1/3 innings. • Tyler O’Neill not in Saturday’s lineup vs. Reds
Tyler O’Neill is not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Reds.

Advice: O’Neill gets a routine maintenance day with Wilyer Abreu back in right field on Saturday afternoon against the Reds. The 29-year-old has homered four times over his last seven games and should be back in there for Sunday’s series finale. Rotoworld Today, 10:41 am

    • Heading to bench Saturday
O'Neill is out of the lineup for Saturday's game against the Reds, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Advice: O'Neill will hit the bench after going 0-for-7 with two walks over the Red Sox's previous two contests, but he's been excellent overall since making his return from a three-game absence due to a knee issue earlier this month, slashing .273/.342/.697 since June 12. Even though he finds himself as the odd man out of the Boston outfield Saturday while the team brings Wilyer Abreu (ankle) back from the injured list, O'Neill should continue to handle a near-everyday role for the Red Sox. • Facing hitters Sunday
Senga (shoulder) will throw live batting practice Sunday, Abbey Mastracco of the New York Daily News reports.

Advice: Senga has had no issues throwing bullpen sessions over the last several days, so he will now graduate to throwing 20 pitches against hitters at the Mets' complex in Florida. Assuming all goes well, the 31-year-old righty will likely throw another few live sessions before being cleared to begin a rehab assignment with one of the Mets' minor-league affiliates. • Kodai Senga (shoulder) set to face hitters Sunday
Kodai Senga (shoulder) will progress to facing hitters on Sunday in a live batting practice session.

Advice: It’ll be the first time Senga faces hitters since experiencing a setback in his rehabilitation process back in late May. The 31-year-old righty is still weeks away from a potential return to New York’s starting rotation and isn’t going to make his season debut until sometime after next month’s All-Star break. • Three hits in Friday's rout
Lindor went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Cubs.

Advice: The veteran shortstop led off the first and fourth innings with doubles as the Mets' offense erupted once again in an 11-1 rout. It's Lindor's sixth multi-hit performance in June, and on the month he's slashing .294/.364/.529 with seven doubles, three homers, four steals, eight RBI and 15 runs in 17 contests. • Records second steal Friday
Crawford went 1-for-4 with a stolen base and a run in an extra-inning loss to the Marlins on Friday.

Advice: The veteran shortstop hit safely for the third time in the last four games while also posting his second stolen base of the season, the first having come back on May 30. Crawford's modest recent success aside, he mostly remains mired in a season-long funk -- his current .207 average and .299 OBP are both career lows, while his 21.2 percent strikeout rate is his highest since 2018.
