    • Remains white hot
Buxton went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run and two additional runs scored Thursday against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Buxton posted a three-hit day with a dinger for the second time in three games. The centerfielder has now collected multiple hits in six of his last 16 starts, batting .355 (22-for-62) with nine extra-base hits including four homers, 14 RBI, 14 runs scored and three steals during that stretch. • Kyle Tucker (shin) progresses to hitting again
Kyle Tucker (shin) progressed to taking 30 swings off a batting tee earlier this week.

Advice: Tucker is close to resuming running again after landing on the injured list earlier this month with a right shin contusion. It’s a positive sign that he’s progressed to taking some swings again. There isn’t a definitive timetable for his return, but he’s definitely going to need at least a brief minor league rehab assignment before rejoining Houston’s lineup. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:46 pm

    • Byron Buxton blasts bomb in blowout
Byron Buxton hit a three-run homer while going 3-for-4 in a 13-6 rout of the Diamondbacks on Thursday.

Advice: Buxton also scored three runs. The three-run blast came off Scott McGough and gave Minnesota a 11-0 lead and it travelled 456 feet. The outfielder is starting to pick things up offensively, and he’s picked up three hits in two of his last three games while improving his slash to .261/.311/.449. • Yields five runs in no-decision
Eovaldi didn't factor into the decision Wednesday against Milwaukee, allowing five runs on nine hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out four.

Advice: Eovaldi had a troublesome third inning, allowing Jackson Chourio to reach on a leadoff single before letting Christian Yelich and Willy Adames get on base with two outs, leading to a Jake Bauers grand slam. The other run charged to Eovaldi came in the fourth frame, when Derek Hill couldn't make a diving catch in center field, allowing Chourio to get all the way around the bases for an inside-the-park home run. Eovaldi's five runs allowed tied his season high, and he's allowed a home run in five consecutive starts. Overall, he owns a 3.45 ERA and 74 strikeouts across 73.0 innings. He's on track to face the Padres in Arlington early next week. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 11:07 pm

    • Nathan Eovaldi gives up first ever grand slam
Nathan Eovaldi surrendered five runs in seven innings Wednesday in a no-decision versus the Brewers.

Advice: Jake Bauers’ third-inning grand slam accounted for most of the damage. It was actually the first slam ever surrendered by Eovaldi; the league had hit just .227/.228/.267 in 79 career plate appearances with the bases loaded. He’s allowed a homer in five straight starts after giving up just three total through eight turns. Rotoworld Wednesday, 2:17 pm

    • Marcus Semien goes 0-for-5 in loss to Brewers
Marcus Semien finished 0-for-5 on Wednesday and is in a 4-for-41 slump in his last 10 games.

Advice: Semien started off well enough in April, but he’s been treading water for about two months now, and particularly unfortunate for fantasy leaguers is that he’s attempted just four steals this season, converting three of them. Semien figures to improve from here, but it remains to be seen if he’ll get back to stealing bases at all. Rotoworld Wednesday, 2:16 pm

    • Cal Raleigh lifts Mariners to victory over Rays
Cal Raleigh clobbered a three-run homer on Wednesday, leading the Mariners to a 5-2 victory over the Rays.

Advice: Raleigh put Seattle ahead for good in a low-scoring series finale at Tropicana Field by walloping a gargantuan 422-foot dinger to right field off Rays reliever Shawn Armstrong in the sixth inning. It was his lone hit of the contest, but he also drew a pair of walks as well. The 27-year-old backstop remains a liability in the batting average department, but he’s up to 14 big flies already and is on pace for his second consecutive 30-homer campaign. • Yandy Díaz collects RBI in eighth straight game
Yandy Díaz went 2-for-4 with an RBI on Wednesday in the Rays’ loss to the Mariners.

Advice: Díaz kicked off the scoring with a run-scoring single off Mariners starter George Kirby in the third inning, marking his eighth consecutive contest with an RBI since June 19. The 32-year-old on-base machine has caught fire over the last few weeks, batting .353 (24-for-68) with three homers and 11 RBI over his last 15 games. Rotoworld Wednesday, 1:22 pm

    • Extends hitting streak to 19
Diaz went 2-for-4 with an RBI in Wednesday's 5-2 loss to the Mariners.

Advice: With his first-inning single off George Kirby, Diaz extended his streak to 19 games and tied the franchise record in the process. He's been a great tone-setter, with 40 RBI out of the leadoff spot this season, one of five players to reach that mark thus far. The 32-year-old has been on a tear in June, hitting .343 with three homers and 15 RBI. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 1:01 pm
