    • Tallies two extra-base hits
Greene went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double, a triple, an RBI and two runs scored in Thursday's 9-7 loss to the Rangers.

Advice: While Greene's batting average is still a bit underwhelming at .239, his .849 OPS is stronger due to eight extra-base knocks through 19 games. In fact, exactly half of the outfielder's hits have gone for extra bases so far. Greene is heating up, and with his ability to leg out doubles or hit the ball over the wall, he should be primed for good numbers the rest of the way. Rotowire.com Today, 4:56 pm

    • Andrés Giménez drives in pair in win over Boston
Andrés Giménez went 2-for-5 with two RBI to help the Guardians to a victory over the Red Sox on Thursday.

Advice: Giménez had a pair of run-scoring singles Thursday, the first of which came in the third to tie the score at 1-1. His second RBI knock came in the fifth to extend Cleveland’s lead to 3-1, and it gives the 25-year-old 11 runs driven in over the first 19 games. He’s not showing much power, but Giménez has still slashed a solid .293/.360/.387 to open the 2024 campaign. Rotoworld Today, 1:20 pm
    • Picks up third steal
Cowser went 1-for-3 with a stolen base in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Twins.

Advice: Cowser's power has come back down with no home runs over his last three games, but he's still hitting well, going 3-for-11 in that span. The outfielder is slashing .400/.429/.800 with four homers, three steals, 15 RBI, eight runs scored and six doubles over 49 plate appearances. Cowser's continued success will likely mean that Austin Hays remains in a bench role, though manager Brandon Hyde has had no trouble resting his other outfielders to keep Cowser in the lineup so far. • Offensive catalyst in win
Raleigh went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two walks in a win over the Reds on Wednesday.

Advice: Several Mariners hitters enjoyed solid offensive performances Wednesday, but Raleigh set the pace with his three trips on the basepaths. That included the backstop's co-team-high third homer of the season, which erased an early 1-0 deficit for Seattle in the second inning. Raleigh has now reached safely in five straight games, and a career-high 13.1 percent walk rate has helped him get to a .311 on-base percentage despite an uninspiring .208 average. • Blasts third home run
Carpenter went 1-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-4 loss to the Rangers.

Advice: Carpenter has been playing well lately, recording a .321 batting average and four extra-base hits across his last 10 games. While he generally sits against southpaws, Carpenter feasts on righties, and that should allow him to remain a solid fantasy asset moving forward. The 26-year-old broke out last year with 20 home runs, 64 RBI and an .811 OPS, and he could surpass all of those numbers in 2024. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:41 pm

    • Strikes out six in no-decision
Skubal allowed four runs (two earned) on five hits across 6.1 innings and did not factor into the decision Wednesday against the Rangers. He walked one and struck out six.

Advice: Skubal has now given up two earned runs or fewer in three of his four starts this season, resulting in a stellar 2.28 ERA. The lefty also has 26 strikeouts across 23.2 innings, and his overall body of work makes him a very strong fantasy asset moving forward. Skubal is projected to take the mound again Monday against the Rays, and he should be locked into lineups no matter the opponent, as he appears to be fairly matchup-proof at this point. • Another strong start
Detmers didn't factor into the decision Wednesday, allowing two runs (one earned) on seven hits and one walk over 5.1 innings against the Rays. He struck out four.

Advice: Although Detmers didn't reach seven strikeouts for the first time all season, he's now surrendered one earned run or zero in four straight outings. After seeing his K/9 jump up to 10.2 in 2023, Detmers has taken another step forward in that category with an 11.9 K/9 through 22.2 innings. The southpaw is tentatively scheduled to face the Orioles on Monday for his next start. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:48 pm

    • Reid Detmers solid again versus Rays
Reid Detmers allowed two runs -- one earned -- with four strikeouts across 5 1/3 innings in a no-decision against the Rays on Wednesday.

Advice: After a clean first inning, two base hits and a sacrifice fly brought an unearned run in to score for the Rays in the second. Detmers would hold Tampa Bay off the board until the sixth. Three consecutive singles brought a run in and end Detmers day with one out at 90 pitches. He struck out four and scattered seven hits with one walk. The 24-year-old left-hander has been outstanding to start the season, posting a 1.19 ERA, 0.97 WHIP, and a 30/7 K/BB ratio across 22 2/3 innings. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:40 pm

    • Vinnie Pasquantino reaches three times vs. White Sox
Vinnie Pasquantino went 1-for-2 with a pair of walks on Wednesday against the White Sox.

Advice: Pasquantino had gone 1-for-4 with a double in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader against the White Sox. He added another double in the second game and drew two walks. After a slow start at the dish, the 26-year-old first baseman has 12 hits over his last seven games, including three homers. He’s now slashing .262/.361/.492 across 72 plate appearances.
