Bryce Elder coughs up three homers to Dodgers
Bryce Elder was blasted for seven runs over 3 1/3 innings on Saturday in a loss to the Dodgers.
Advice: We saw this one coming. Elder was no match for Los Angeles’ star-studded lineup as he gave up seven hits, including three round-trippers, in an abbreviated outing. He was taken deep by Max Muncy, Shohei Ohtani and Andy Pages before departing in the fourth inning. He finished with four strikeouts and also issued four walks. It’s unclear whether he’ll make another start for Atlanta, but he’s tentatively lined up to take the ball next Saturday against the Mets.
