    • Not in Wednesday's lineup
Alvarez is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Nationals, Anthony DiComo of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Alvarez started the first two games of the series but will sit Wednesday after going 3-for-10 with a double, a triple, three RBI and six strikeouts. Luis Torrens will handle the catching duties for rookie righty Christian Scott. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 1:58 pm
    • Returns to action
Stephenson started at catcher, batted fifth and went 0-for-3 with a walk in Tuesday's 5-4 win over the Yankees.

Advice: Stephenson's availability to play was thrown into doubt after the Reds transferred him from the paternity list to the family medical emergency list. The transfer gave the Reds the option to not activate Stephenson for Tuesday, but the catcher was ready to go. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 4:24 am

    • Homers in loss
Witt went 1-for-4 with a solo homer during Tuesday's loss to the Rays.

Advice: Witt's home run in the sixth inning cut Tampa Bay's lead to 2-1, but it would also end up being the only way the Royals got on the board in a 5-1 defeat. The 24-year-old shortstop remains one of the most reliable bats in baseball, recording a hit in seven of his last eight games while posting a 1.015 OPS in that span. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 12:39 am
    • Swats extra-inning homer
Alonso went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run during Tuesday's 7-2 win over the Nationals in 10 innings.

Advice: Alonso capped off the Mets' five-run 10th inning with a two-run blast off Robert Garcia, the first baseman's 18th home run of the campaign. He's riding a six-game hit streak, batting 8-for-24 (.333) with six runs and five RBI during that span. Alonso owns an .810 OPS with a 20.3 percent strikeout rate on the season, and the former is actually the lowest figure of his career in that category. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 11:46 pm

    • Bobby Witt Jr. goes deep in loss to Rays
Bobby Witt Jr. crushed his 13th home run of the season on Tuesday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Royals to victory over the Rays.

Advice: The 24-year-old superstar got the Royals on the board with his 399-foot (108.0 mph EV) solo shot off of Kevin Kelly in the sixth inning. That would be his lone hit in four at-bats on the night. Witt has been a five-category monster for fantasy purposes this season, slashing .311/.362/.539 with 13 homers, 55 RBI, 66 runs scored and 22 stolen bases through his first 87 games. • Anthony Santander propels Orioles past Mariners
Anthony Santander went 2-for-4 and drove in a run on Tuesday evening, leading the Orioles to a 2-0 victory over the Mariners in Seattle.

Advice: Santander broke a scoreless tie in the fourth inning as he smacked an RBI single into right field off of George Kirby in the fourth inning that plated Gunnar Henderson. The 29-year-old outfielder also led off the second inning with a single, but he was ultimately erased on a double play. With his two-hit attack, Santander is now hitting .234/.302/.503 with 22 homers and 56 RBI on the year. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:32 pm

    • Goes deep in loss
Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 6-4 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Suzuki went deep with two runners on in the bottom of the ninth inning, bringing the Cubs within two, but the comeback effort came up short. The outfielder now has 11 home runs on the season, including three in his last six games. Suzuki is once again having a solid campaign, and fantasy managers should expect steady production the rest of the way as long as he stays healthy. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:16 pm

    • Homer, three hits in loss
Suwinski went 3-for-3 with a three-run home run in a 7-4 loss to the Cardinals on Tuesday.

Advice: Suwinski singled in the third inning and put the Pirates on the board with a three-run home run in the fifth. He later added another single in the seventh to stay perfect at the plate Tuesday. This was the outfielder's first three-hit effort of the season and his first home run since June 14. On the year, he is hitting a lowly .180 with seven home runs, 23 RBI, 24 runs scored and five steals over 225 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:02 pm

    • Seiya Suzuki homers, drives in three vs. Phillies
Seiya Suzuki went 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBI in Tuesday’s loss to the Phillies.

Advice: After being held to just one run through the first eight innings, the Cubs put three more on the board in the final frame thanks to Suzuki’s three-run bomb that scored Cody Bellinger and Michael Busch. Suzuki now has 11 homers and 34 RBI on the season and has hit safely in five of his last seven games while blasting three homers. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:51 pm
