    • Alexiz Díaz converts 11th straight save chanceg
Alexis Díaz worked a scoreless ninth for his 17th save Friday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Díaz has converted 10 straight save chances, even though he’s had a few hiccups during the run. His 5.08 ERA and 29/19 K/BB ratio in 28 1/3 innings still don’t inspire a ton of confidence, but things are certainly looking up from a few weeks ago. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:41 pm
    • Takes blown save, loss
Duran (3-3) allowed two runs on two hits and struck out one over one inning, taking the loss and a blown save versus the Athletics on Friday.

Advice: Duran served up a two-run home run to Shea Langeliers after being called upon to pitch in a high-leverage situation in the eighth inning. This was Duran's first blown save of the year -- he's converted 11 saves and added four holds over 24 appearances. The closer has a 3.91 ERA, 1.04 WHIP and 21:8 K:BB through 23 innings overall. • George Kirby solid for seven in no-decision
George Kirby was left with a no-decision after seven innings of two-run ball Friday against the Marlins.

Advice: Kirby was undone by back-to-back solo homers in the sixth. The first of those, off the bat of Bryan De La Cruz, would have been a homer in three ballparks, according to Statcast. Apart from that sequence, Kirby was masterful. He’s allowed two runs or fewer in 11 of 16 starts. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:56 pm

    • Cal Raleigh slips below Mendoza Line in loss
Cal Raleigh went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts against the Marlins on Friday.

Advice: Raleigh often seems to come up with the big hit, but the little hit has been a problem this year, as he’s batted just .198/.276/.380 in 272 plate appearances. The Mariners aren’t going to change much about his usage, but maybe they’ll give him the occasional extra day off and roll with Mitch Garver behind the plate. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:56 pm

    • Jhoan Duran blows save in eighth against A’s
Jhoan Duran blew a save while allowing two runs and also picked up a loss to the A’s on Friday.

Advice: Duran has lost three games in 2024, but this was technically his first blown save of the year. The right-hander came in during the eighth, but gave up a hit to Daz Cameron and then a two-run blast to Shea Langeliers. A disappointing effort for fantasy teams and the Twins, but Duran should still be counted on going forward. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:09 pm

    • Smacks 10th homer
Ramos went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run in Thursday's 6-5 loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: The outfielder has been on a power surge with four homers over his last seven games, and he's added 11 RBI in that span. Ramos leads the Giants with 10 long balls this season, and every other player on the team with at least five homers has played in a minimum of 50 games compared to his 39. Ramos has added a .307/.382/.553 slash line with 35 RBI, 17 runs scored, one stolen base and seven doubles across 170 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:18 am

    • Tallies three hits Thursday
Hernandez went 3-for-5 with a double and a run Thursday in a 5-3 win against Colorado.

Advice: Hernandez departed in the seventh inning of Wednesday's matchup between the clubs, but manager Dave Roberts indicated afterward that the early exit was simply for rest reasons, and the outfielder's inclusion in Thursday's lineup seems to validate that claim. Hernandez certainly didn't appear bothered by any issues in the finale of the four-game set, as he recorded his fourth three-hit performance of the campaign. He's been swinging a hot bat over the past two weeks, slashing .321/.387/.732 with six homers, 16 RBI, 10 runs and a stolen base over his past 14 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:40 am
    • Three hits, three RBI in win
Donovan went 3-for-4 with a home run, a double and three RBI in Thursday's win over the Giants.

Advice: Donovan continued to rake Thursday, posting his fourth three-hit game of the campaign and his third multi-hit performance in his last four contests. The outfielder's two-run blast in the first inning gave the Cardinals an early 3-0 lead, while his two-out, RBI single in the fifth added what would prove to be a pivotal insurance run. Donovan is up to seven long balls on the season, with three coming this month and two coming over his last three games. He's batting .299 in June with 11 RBI and seven runs scored. • Records 12th save
Phillips earned a save against the Rockies on Thursday, striking out two batters in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Phillips cruised to the save on 11 pitches, punching out two of the three batters he faced. It was the fifth straight scoreless and hitless outing for the closer, who has allowed an earned run in only two of his 21 appearances this season. Phillips is 12-for-12 in save chances this season -- he's the only MLB closer with that many saves who remains perfect in save opportunities. Rotowire.com Thursday, 11:13 pm
