    • Launches grand slam
Profar went 1-for-3 with a grand slam, a hit-by-pitch and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 9-7 win over the Nationals.

Advice: Profar gave the Padres the extra cushion they ultimately needed when he slugged a grand slam in the sixth inning. The Nationals attempted a comeback but fell short. After a brief absence with a knee injury over the weekend, Profar has resumed his hot hitting -- he's 10-for-36 (.278) with nine RBI during his nine-game hitting streak. For the season, the outfielder is at a stellar .317/.410/.488 slash line with 11 homers, 54 RBI, 45 runs scored and four stolen bases over 82 contests. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 10:48 pm
    • Jurickson Profar hits grand slam in Padres’ win
Jurickson Profar hit a grand slam Tuesday in the Padres’ 9-7 takedown of the Nationals.

Advice: This game had a little bit of everything, including a benches-clearing incident, a manager ejection, some extended player admiration of home runs, ugly defense, boneheaded baserunning and 16 runs in all. What it didn’t have was strikeouts; the teams totaled just five, and Nationals hitters went the first eight innings without any at all. Profar, coming off a walkoff hit Monday, was involved in the early confrontation that emptied the dugouts and then immediately was hit by a pitch after warnings were issued. Immediately after that, he scored on a Manny Machado homer. His slam, a line-drive homer down the right field line, was the fourth of his career. He’s now 5-for-5 with four extra-base hits and 17 RBI with the bases loaded this season. Rotoworld Tuesday, 10:13 pm
    • Homers again in loss
Harper went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in a 4-1 loss to the Tigers on Tuesday.

Advice: Harper provided the only offense for the Phillies, hitting a solo home run off Jason Foley in the ninth inning. It was the slugger's second consecutive day with a home run, and he has now gone a ridiculous 20-for-43 with five homers, 11 RBI and 13 runs scored over a current 10-game hitting streak. On the season, he is hitting .306 with 20 home runs, 57 RBI and 52 runs scored through 278 at-bats. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:17 pm

    • Gausman has quality start against Red Sox
Kevin Gausman allowed four runs (three earned) on five hits in six innings in a win over the Red Sox on Tuesday.

Advice: Gausman struck out five and walked one on the day but did allow two home runs, which accounted for all but one of the runs scored against him. The 33-year-old’s fastball averaged 94 mph on the day, which is up from his season average and he got seven whiffs on 24 swings on that pitch. However, he was only able to get 10 whiffs overall on the day for a 20 percent whiff rate and 25 percent CSW. He had just a 38 percent zone rate on the splitter, and he’s been struggling to get whiffs on that pitch over the last few starts. That’s a bit of a concern because the fastball isn’t good enough to carry him if the splitter whiffs don’t come back. Rotoworld Tuesday, 7:00 pm

    • Bryce Harper crushes 20th homer in loss to Tigers
Bryce Harper went 2-for-4 with his 20th home run of the season on Tuesday in the Phillies’ loss to the Tigers.

Advice: Harper broke up a potential shutout with a ninth-inning blast against Tigers stopper Jason Foley with the Phillies trailing by four runs at the time. It may have been a garbage-time round-tripper, but fantasy managers certainly won’t complain. The 31-year-old fantasy superstar has gone deep five times over his last six contests and is up to 20 big flies on the year already. If he stays healthy, Harper has a realistic shot at surpassing his previous career-high mark (42) in the home run department, which he set all the way back in 2015. Rotoworld Tuesday, 5:51 pm

    • Jurickson Profar wins game in 10th for Padres
Jurickson Profar delivered the game-winner in the 10th as the Padres edged the Nationals 7-6 on Monday.

Advice: Profar’s lone hit in five at-bats seemed to hang in the air forever, but it was put in the perfect spot to elude Lane Thomas and Jacob Young in right-center. The two-run single — it would have been at least a double under normal circumstances — came after Luis Arraez was walked to load the bases. Profar has hit in eight straight games, but since he’s collected just nine hits in that span and he’s been so productive on the season, he’s lost 20 points of OPS during the stretch (.917 to .897). • Luis Rengifo remains in after HBP, gets two hits
Luis Rengifo went 2-for-3 with two runs scored against the A’s on Monday.

Advice: Rengifo was hit in the wrist by a pitch in his first at-bat and was clearly in pain for a bit, but he was able to continue and pick up two knocks afterwards. He scored multiple runs in a game for the first time since May 28. Rotoworld Monday, 9:37 pm

    • Bryce Harper hits 19th homer, plates five in win
Bryce Harper went 3-for-5 with a three-run homer and five RBI on Monday, powering the Phillies to a dominant 8-1 victory over the Tigers.

Advice: Harper kicked off the scoring in the opening frame with a sizzling two-run double to center field off Tigers starter Casey Mize, which left his bat at a stratopsheric 111 mph exit velocity. He also connected for his 19th round-tripper of the season, sending a three-run moonshot to right field off southpaw reliever Tyler Holton a couple frames later to cap off a stellar performance in a one-sided affair at Comerica Park. The 31-year-old fantasy superstar is in the midst of one of the best stretches of his career at the moment, batting .345 (39-for-113) with nine homers and 21 RBI over his last 30 games. • Homers, drives in five
Harper went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a home run in Monday's win against Detroit, finishing with five RBI and three runs scored.

Advice: Harper opened the scoring in the first inning with a two-run double before icing the game with a three-run shot in the sixth. Harper stayed hot at the plate, extending his hitting streak to nine games. During the hitting streak, the 31-year-old is batting a scorching .462 (18-for-39) with four home runs, 10 RBI, 12 runs scored and one stolen base. Rotowire.com Monday, 6:50 pm
