    • Tosses 5.2 scoreless frames Monday
Crochet took a no-decision against the Dodgers on Monday, allowing five hits and striking out six batters over 5.2 scoreless innings.

Advice: Crochet was on his game with 16 whiffs and six punchouts against one of MLB's top offenses, but Dodgers starter James Paxton traded scoreless frames with him, and both hurlers had to settle for a no-decision. Crochet continues to impress in what has been a breakout first campaign as a starter -- he lowered his ERA to 3.05 with Monday's outing and ranks second in the league with 130 strikeouts. The southpaw has given up three or fewer earned runs while going at least five frames in 11 consecutive starts. Rotowire.com Today, 10:09 pm

    • Trevor Megill records 16th save for Brewers
Trevor Megill was perfect in the ninth in earning his 16th save Monday against the Rangers.

Advice: Remember when it was Abner Uribe and then Joel Payamps getting saves for the Brewers. Megill didn’t earn his first until Apr. 25, so all 16 of his have come in a two-month span. Rotoworld Today, 9:15 pm
    • Crochet strikes out six in scoreless start Monday
Garrett Crochet allowed no runs in 5 2/3 innings and got a no-decision against the Dodgers on Monday.

Advice: Crochet gave up five hits, walked none and struck out six. It was a pretty good effort considering he was facing the Dodgers, but the White Sox couldn’t score any runs to support Crochet. He was one out away from a quality start, breaking a streak of six consecutive quality starts. Crochet continues to build a potential Cy Young award case with a 3.05 ERA and 130 strikeouts on the season. There’s no doubt he’s been a fantasy MVP, though. The 25-year-old left-hander is set to face the Rockies at home this weekend. Rotoworld Today, 8:10 pm

    • Spencer Steer tallies two hits, three RBI in blowout
Spencer Steer went 2-for-4 with three RBI on Monday in the Reds’ lopsided win over the Pirates.

Advice: It’s pretty remarkable that the Reds finished with 11 runs in this one considering they put three straight zeroes on the scoreboard to open the contest before Steer finally got Cincinnati on the board with a two-run double in the fourth inning. The versatile 26-year-old has five homers and one steal over his last 30 games and is up to nine homers and 12 thefts overall this season through 76 contests. Rotoworld Today, 7:19 pm

    • Aaron Nola starts triple play, tames Tigers in win
Aaron Nola yielded one run over seven innings on Monday in a win over the Tigers.

Advice: Nola did what he’s done best throughout his career in this one, cruising into the late innings after being staked to a massive lead before even taking the mound at pitcher-friendly Comerica Park. He struck out six batters and didn’t hand out a free pass. A run-scoring single from Carson Kelly in the fifth inning represented the lone tally against him over seven strong frames. He also started an ultra-rare 1-3-5 triple play in the third inning of this one, which was the first in the big leagues since 1929 and only third of its kind in big-league history. The 31-year-old upper-echelon fantasy contributor is prone to the occasional blow-up, but he’s allowed three earned runs or fewer in 13 of his 16 outings this season. He’ll aim to keep things rolling on Saturday with a tasty matchup against the Marlins. Rotoworld Today, 6:56 pm

    • Sharp in win
Nola (9-3) picked up the win Monday against Detroit, allowing one earned run on six hits and zero walks while striking out six over seven innings.

Advice: Nola allowed just one extra-base hit, limiting the Tigers to just one run to notch his sixth quality start over his past seven outings. Despite getting shelled by the Red Sox for eight earned runs on June 13, the 31-year-old owns a robust 3.54 ERA, a 1.06 WHIP and a 84:25 K:BB over 94 innings this season. The right-hander is in a favorable position to keep the success going in his next start, currently scheduled for this weekend against Miami. Rotowire.com Today, 6:42 pm

    • Logs fifth straight multi-hit game
Gurriel went 2-for-4 in Sunday's 4-1 loss to the Phillies.

Advice: Gurriel returned to action after sitting out Saturday with minor elbow soreness. Sunday's two-hit outing gives the outfielder five consecutive games with multiple hits. He's 10-for-21 (.476) with nine singles and one home run during that stretch. Rotowire.com Today, 5:00 am
    • Doubles twice, drives in three
Pena went 3-for-5 with two doubles, three RBI and a run scored in Sunday's win against the Orioles.

Advice: Pena hit an RBI double in the first inning before knocking a two-run double in the sixth. He'd been stuck in a 6-for-49 (.122) slump since his last multi-hit game June 5. Pena's homerless drought has now reached 31 games, and he's attempted only one steal in his last 15 contests. Still, he bumped his season slash line up to .280/.316/.382 through 314 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 6:36 pm
    • Nick Lodolo takes first loss since May
Nick Lodolo lost to the Red Sox after yielding four runs — three earned — in 4 2/3 innings Sunday.

Advice: Lodolo hadn’t allowed more than two runs in winning five straight starts since returning from the IL, but he didn’t have quite the same stuff today. With his curveball a little off, he settled for seven missed swings in the 77-pitch outing. He also walked four. He’ll look to start a new winning streak next weekend against the Cardinals; that’s the team he beat a month ago to begin the one that concluded today. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:30 pm
