      Advice: The 25-year-old was removed from Tuesday's game against the Detroit due to left groin tightness, but it's now being reported as a right adductor injury. According to Dan Hayes of The Athletic, Lewis is dealing with a Grade 2 strain and will be sidelined through the All-Star break before being reevaluated. Even in a best-case scenario, he'll likely miss some time behind that while building back up to game readiness.       Twins placed INF Royce Lewis on the 10-day injured list with a right adductor strain.

      Advice: Unfortunately, the 25-year-old superstar heads back to the injured list where he has spent far too much time over the past three seasons. Twins’ general manager Derek Falvey told reporters on Wednesday that Lewis will be sidelined at least through the All-Star break and will then be re-evaluated. Top prospect Brooks Lee had his contract selected from Triple-A St. Paul in a corresponding move on Wednesday and he should see plenty of action while Lewis is shelved.     • Hit hard in Tuesday's loss
      Cease (7-7) took the loss Tuesday, coughing up six runs on eight hits and two walks over 3.2 innings as the Padres fell 7-0 to the Rangers. He struck out five.

      Advice: The right-hander got no help from his offense, but Cease created his own problems by serving up six extra-base hits, including a pair of homers by Nathaniel Lowe. Cease has been tagged for four runs or more in three of his last four starts, walking multiple batters each time.       Turner went 3-for-5 with two home runs and four RBI during Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Cubs.

      Advice: Turner homered off Hayden Wesneski in the third inning to give Philadelphia a 3-0 lead, and then again in the fifth to put the team in front, 5-1. An RBI single in the seventh frame capped off the Phillies' scoring and gave Turner his sixth hit in the past two games. The 31-year-old shortstop is now slashing .367/.406/.667 with two homers and six RBI over his last seven games and has recorded four multi-hit performances in that span.       Royce Lewis will undergo an MRI on Wednesday after being removed from Tuesday’s game with left groin tightness.

      Advice: Lewis expressed concern to reporters afterwards that he’ll wind up back on the injured list since the Twins don’t want to take any chances with his long-term health. “I have no idea. But probably not very optimistic, to be honest with you,” said Lewis. “I’m praying, but it’s usually always horrible news.       Advice: The Brewers scored two runs in the top of the ninth to take a one-run lead, and Megill came through in the bottom of the frame for his 18th save despite giving up a two-out single. The right-hander has converted 12 straight save chances and hasn't allowed a run across his past nine appearances, which has improved his ERA to 1.59 and WHIP to 0.99, respectively.       Advice: The 29-year-old slugger opened the scoring in the ballgame with his 405-foot (108.7 mph EV) solo shot off of Angels’ starter Jose Soriano in the fourth inning. Rooker also drew a walk in the fifth inning and swiped second base, but he was left stranded there.       Trevor Megill slammed the door on the Rockies in the ninth inning on Tuesday evening, preserving a one-run lead to notch his 18th save of the season.

      Advice: The Brewers rallied to score twice in the top half of the ninth inning, setting the stage for Megill to come on and do his thing. The 30-year-old hurler made it look easy once again, getting Ezequiel Tovar on a fly ball to center and Brendan Rodgers on a swinging third strike to begin the inning. He did allow a two-out single to Ryan McMahon, but battled back to get Elias Diaz on a swinging third strike to end it.
