Garcia (elbow) threw a bullpen session Sunday, Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca reports.

Advice: The reliever will throw another bullpen session Wednesday before the next steps in his rehab program are determined. Garcia has missed just two weeks with a nerve issue in his right elbow, so it's possible he could skip a rehab assignment and return from the 15-day injured list whenever the Blue Jays feel that he's ready. With Jordan Romano (elbow) out indefinitely, Garcia should be back in the mix for saves once he returns, perhaps even as the club's top option. Chad Green has been serving as Toronto's closer since Garcia landed on the IL but hasn't received any save chances during that stretch. Rotowire.com Today, 9:37 am

    • Yimi Garcia threw a bullpen on Sunday
Yimi García (elbow) threw a bullpen without issue on Sunday.

Advice: Blue Jays manager John Schneider said García will do it again Wednesday before the team decides on the next steps. With Jordan Romano shutting down his throwing program again, García could return to a closer’s role for the remainder of the season (or until the trade deadline) if he responds well to the next bullpen session. • Swipes 14th bag
Abrams went 1-for-2 with two walks and a stolen base in Sunday's loss to the Rays.

Advice: The Nationals only had three hits on the afternoon, so while Abrams was busy on the basepaths, his efforts couldn't generate any offense. The 23-year-old shortstop had been slumping heading into June, but he wrapped up the month with a dazzling .373/.464/.663 slash line in 97 plate appearances, adding four of his 13 homers on the season and six of his 14 steals. • Blake: Rodón working to adjust gameplan
Yankees pitching coach Matt Blake said Carlos Rodón is working to adjust his approach as team’s key on hitting his fastball.

Advice: Speaking to The Athletic, Matt Blake said he doesn’t have long-term concerns with Rodón despite the left-hander allowing 20 earned runs and a 1.253 OPS in his last three outings. “I think it’s being ready to adapt your plan early because it’s clear that teams that can hit the fastball are targeting him early,” Blake said. “There are more guys like him who throw the ball hard with good profiles and... there’s just less room for error with that stuff. Even if that’s how you got paid, that’s not necessarily your map for success down the road. The more we can adjust and adapt to the league and the sooner we can do that, the easier it is...You’re not asking him to be crafty, but you’ve got to have a better rhythm than that.” Rotoworld Today, 8:25 am
    • Fans 10 Sunday
Ryan allowed two runs (one earned) on six hits and no walks while striking out 10 over 5.2 innings Sunday against the Mariners. He did not factor into the decision.

Advice: Ryan got through four innings unscathed while racking up eight of his 10 strikeouts over that span. He found himself in some immediate trouble in the fifth after allowing a leadoff triple and wound up surrendering two runs in the inning following a pair of base knocks and a fielding error. Sunday was Ryan's second double-digit strikeout performance this season and his second straight outing without walking a batter. He's given up two runs or less in four of his last five starts, though that's only amounted to one win. The 28-year-old will carry an excellent 3.21 ERA, 0.96 WHIP and 110:15 K:BB (103.2 innings) into a meeting with the ascending Astros over the weekend. Rotowire.com Today, 2:32 am

    • Joe Ryan strikes out 10 in no-decision vs. M’s
Joe Ryan recorded 10 strikeouts and was charged with two runs (one earned) over 5 2/3 innings on Sunday in a no-decision against the Mariners.

Advice: Ryan delivered an outstanding performance on Sunday afternoon at T-Mobile Park, generating 16 swinging strikes - including 11 on his four-seam fastball alone - and finished with a near-elite 36 percent CSW. He gave up six hits and didn’t hand out a free pass, although he did hit a pair of batters as well. The 28-year-old upper-echelon fantasy contributor recorded his second double-digit strikeout performance of the season and will aim to keep the momentum going when he faces the Astros on Saturday in his penultimate outing prior to the All-Star break. • Notches eight strikeouts in win
Peralta (6-4) picked up the win Sunday against the Cubs, allowing one earned run on two hits and two walks while striking out eight over seven innings.

Advice: Peralta yielded a solo home run to Nico Hoerner in the opening frame, but the 28-year-old was locked in afterwards, yielding just one other hit to notch his seventh quality start of the season. The right-hander has shown an impressive ability to miss bats, registering an 11.6 K/9 that ranks in the 95th percentile. Despite the lofty strikeout totals, Peralta has been mildly disappointing this season, logging a pedestrian 3.83 ERA and 1.13 WHIP across 94 innings. He will look to keep rolling in his next start, currently scheduled for next weekend against the Dodgers. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:47 pm
    • Continues to dominate
Bradley (3-4) earned the win Sunday, allowing no runs on three hits and two walks over 5.2 innings against the Nationals. He struck out 11.

Advice: Bradley held the Nationals off the board while matching a season high in strikeouts. Since allowing nine runs and four homers against Baltimore on June 1, Bradley has been on a heater, posting five-consecutive starts allowing two earned runs or fewer while accumulating double-digit strikeout totals during two of those outings. During that stretch, he's completed 29 innings, allowing just four earned runs (1.24 ERA) with a 1.00 WHIP and 40 strikeouts. He'll look to keep things rolling during his next start, tentatively slated to take place next weekend when the Rays travel to Arlington to take on the Rangers. • Blasts 10th home run
Bohm went 2-for-5 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 7-6 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Bohm raked in June with five home runs and 20 RBI in 24 games this month. However, Bohm was 1-for-16 over his previous four games and got back on track, blasting his 10th homer Sunday. The fifth-year breakout continues for Bohm, who now has 68 RBI this season, the third-most in MLB. The 27-year-old has been one of the most consistent third basemen in MLB, hitting .300/.350/.489 over 81 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 3:05 pm
