      De La Cruz went 2-for-3 with solo home run, a triple, three runs scored, a steal and two walks in Sunday's loss to the Brewers.

      Advice: De La Cruz stuffed the stat sheet with a terrific performance Sunday, headlined by his solo homer in the eighth inning. He's up to 12 long balls with 36 steals this season. He went six straight games without a stolen base to begin the month but now has four over his last eight appearances.       Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in Sunday's 11-6 win over the Padres.

      Advice: With two men on in the first inning, Alonso took Dylan Cease deep for this 15th homer this season. He later added a two-run single as part of a four-run eighth to give him a season-high five RBI for the game. This one had to feel good for Alonso, as he broke out of a small slump where he had only five hits and one RBI over his last eight games.       Elly De La Cruz went 2-for-3 with two walks, three runs scored, a solo home run, a triple and a stolen base against the Brewers on Sunday.

      Advice: On the third pitch he saw, Lindor took Dylan Cease deep for his first leadoff homer since 2019. It was his 12th home run this season and the third in his last nine games. Lindor has been on a steady climb for about a month now with an average of .303 over his last 25 games.     • Pete Alonso paces Mets with five RBI
      Pete Alonso went 2-for-5 with a home run and five RBI in the Mets’ 11-6 win over the Padres on Sunday.

      Advice: Alonso needed a game like this after a rough few weeks. The five RBI matched his total for the entire month of June entering play Sunday and ninth time in his career he’s driven in at least five runs in a single game. The Mets seem to finally be comfortable with their new lineup configuration with Alonso hitting clean-up behind Francisco Lindor, Brandon Nimmo, and J.D.       Parker (5-3) picked up the win Sunday against Miami, allowing one earned run on six hits and zero walks while striking out four over six innings.

      Advice: Parker's excellent rookie season continued as he turned in another quality start, his fourth over his past six games. During that span, the southpaw has pitched to a 3.03 ERA, a 1.04 WHIP and a 25:8 K:BB across 35.2 innings. While Parker doesn't typically post high strikeout totals, he has been remarkably consistent all season, allowing three earned runs or fewer in all 12 of his starts.     • Parker picks up fifth win against Marlins Sunday
      Mitchell Parker allowed one run in six innings and got the win in the Nationals’ 3-1 victory over the Marlins on Sunday.



      Advice: Parker gave up six hits, walked none and struck out three. The win was his fifth of the year. It was also Parker’s fifth quality start in 12 starts this year. His ERA is 3.06 on the year despite a 4.02 xFIP. Parker does everything well except get a lot of strikeouts. He has a 42 percent ground ball percentage. Parker has allowed 0.80 HR/9 and 2.00 BB/9. He’s doing everything he can to prop up an 18 percent strikeout percentage, which gives him a fragile profile. The 24-year-old left-hander is set to face the Rockies on the road next week.
