    • Fans eight in loss
Webb (6-6) took the loss Sunday against St. Louis, allowing four runs on nine hits and two walks across six innings. He struck out eight.

Advice: Webb struggled early, yielding two doubles and two singles as part of a three-run first inning before surrendering another run in the second frame. While Webb settled in afterward, the damage was already done, as the Giants failed to generate a hit until the seventh inning. The 27-year-old has completed six innings in nine consecutive starts and matched his season high in strikeouts Sunday. He's one of five players with 100 innings pitched this season and owns a 3.16 ERA and a 91:23 K:BB. Webb is scheduled for a home start against the Dodgers next weekend. • Comes up clutch
Thomas went 1-for-4 with an RBI double, a run scored and a stolen base during Sunday's 2-1 win over the Rockies.

Advice: Thomas spearheaded the Nationals' comeback, plating CJ Abrams with a game-tying double and then stealing third before scoring the go-ahead run on a Joey Meneses single. Thomas has generated a run and an RBI in four consecutive games, going 7-for-19 with a pair of doubles, a triple and a home run during that stretch. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:44 pm

    • Tagged with six runs
Miller (6-6) allowed six runs on six hits and a walk over four innings Sunday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Marlins.

Advice: Miami jumped on Miller early with a four-run first inning. He gave up another run in the second before Jesus Sanchez scored the Marlins' final run with a solo shot in the third. Miller has allowed 15 earned runs in five starts this month, resulting in a 4.88 ERA. Two of those outings have accounted for 13 of the runs. Miller has produced a 4.89 ERA since the start of May, driving his season mark up to 3.90. He's currently in line for a home matchup with the Twins next weekend. • Provides offense Sunday
Morel went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Sunday's 5-2 loss to the Mets.

Advice: Morel provided all of Chicago's offense with his 15th home run of the season in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old has hit 15 or more homers in each of his three MLB seasons to date, including a career high 26 long balls last year in 107 games. Assuming he stays healthy, Morel could surpass that figure in 2024 as the team is still a few games shy of the season's midpoint. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:27 pm

    • Christopher Morel slugs two-run homer in loss
Christopher Morel slugged a two-run homer on Sunday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Cubs past the Mets.

Advice: The Cubs weren’t able to get anything going over six innings against Luis Severino, but they started to battle back as soon as he exited. Morel finally got them on the board with a 420-foot (106.9 mph EV) two-run blast off of Dedniel Nunez in the seventh inning. The 24-year-old slugger finished the night 1-for-4 and is now hitting .203/.304/.395 with 15 homers, 45 RBI and seven stolen bases on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:21 pm

    • Lane Thomas has SB, game-tying RBI
Lane Thomas went 1-for-4 with an RBI and a steal in a win over the Rockies on Sunday.

Advice: Thomas had been hitless before doubling off Jalen Beeks in the ninth inning to tie the game at 1-1. He then stole third and came around to score on a single by Joey Meneses. Thomas got off to a slow start, but he has been good since coming off the IL, hitting .295/.341/.564 in June with five home runs, 17 RBI, 16 runs scored, and two steals. Congratulations if you were able to buy low while he was hurt. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:51 pm

    • Jackson Chourio collects two hits in win Sunday
Jackson Chourio went 2-for-2 with a double and a run scored as the Brewers triumphed over the Padres in San Diego on Sunday afternoon.

Advice: The 20-year-old outfielder wasn’t even in the Brewers’ starting lineup for this one, but still managed to have a strong day at the dish. He entered as a pinch-hitter for Tyler Black in the seventh inning, where he singled to right and came around to score on an RBI single off the bat of Jake Bauers. Chourio also doubled off of Jhony Brito in the ninth inning, but was stranded at third. He’s now slashing .230/.278/.362 with seven homers, 27 RBI and eight stolen bases on the season. • Will throw from mound this week
Williams (back) is set for a mound session Wednesday in Milwaukee.

Advice: Williams is poised for the next big milestone in his recovery from the multiple stress fractures in his back that have sidelined him for the entirety of the 2024 campaign to this point. If the 29-year-old can avoid any setbacks, he remains on track to return to the Brewers' bullpen in late July, likely after the All-Star break. The mound session Wednesday is just the tip of the iceberg in his recovery though, as Williams will likely throw multiple bullpen sessions before a lengthy rehab assignment down the road. • Webb recovers from rough start in loss
Logan Webb allowed four runs on nine hits in six innings in a loss to the Cardinals on Sunday.

Advice: The game started off on the wrong foot for Webb, who allowed three runs on four hits in the first inning and then allowed another run on two more hits in the second. Over his final four innings, he didn’t allow a run, while giving up just three hits and striking out four. Webb may be more of an SP2 in fantasy baseball than the ace many wanted him to be coming into this year, but he’s a rock-solid starter who will carry a 3.16 ERA into a tough start against the Dodgers next weekend.
