    • Command issues in no-decision
Quantrill did not factor into the decision in a win over the Brewers on Thursday, allowing two runs on five hits and four walks over five innings. He struck out two.

Advice: Quantrill struggled with his command throughout the night, needing 28 pitches to get through the opening frame before issuing three walks in the fourth. The right-hander had posted a 13:1 K:BB over his previous two starts coming in, though he's now allowed 19 hits over his last three outings (16.1 innings). Quantrill will look to earn his first win since June 11 when the Rockies travel to Cincinnati next week to take on the Reds. Rotowire.com Today, 6:21 am

    • Homers in win
Pederson went 1-for-2 with two walks, a solo home run and an additional run scored in Thursday's 12-3 win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Pederson got the rout started early against his former team with a first-inning solo homer. It was his second home run in the last three games and 12th of the season. Pederson maintains career highs in average (.284) and OPS (.896), mostly against right-handed pitching. Just 18 of his 250 plate appearances have come against left-handers. • Another three-hit performance
Witt went 3-for-5 with a home run and two RBI in Thursday's loss to the Rays.

Advice: Witt drove home Kansas City's second run of the game with a sacrifice fly in the third before recording hits in each of his next three trips to the plate, including a solo homer in the bottom of the ninth. It was the star shortstop's third multi-hit performance in his last three games and he's now tallied at least one RBI in four straight. Witt is 6-for-11 (.545) through three games to start the month of July and his .319 average on the season puts him at second in the majors behind only Steven Kwan (.367). • Records save on Independence Day
Hader earned a save against the Blue Jays on Thursday, allowing one hit in one scoreless inning.

Advice: Hader entered in the ninth inning with Houston holding a two-run lead and immediately allowed a single to bring the tying run to the plate. However, he then induced a double play -- Toronto's fifth double play of the contest -- and needed just nine pitches overall to nail down his 14th save. Despite the successful outing, Hader snapped an eight-game streak of appearances with at least one punchout. He had posted a 14:1 K:BB across eight frames during that stretch. Advice: Kwan reached base four times Thursday and tagged Jared Shuster for a homer in the second inning. The outing was Kwan's first three-hit game since June 16 and his 12th of the season. MLB's leader in batting average, Kwan is slashing .367/.424/.538 with 50 runs across 265 plate appearances. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:12 pm

    • Witt Jr. a triple shy of the cycle against Rays
Bobby Witt Jr. went 3-for-4 with a double, a home run and two RBI against the Rays on Thursday.

Advice: The home run was Witt Jr.'s 14th of the season. He took Pete Fairbanks deep with a solo shot in the ninth inning. Witt Jr. remains one of the best hitters in fantasy this season. He’s hitting .319 with a .925 OPS and 58 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:53 pm

    • Contreras has two hits in loss to Rockies Thursday
William Contreras went 2-for-5 against the Rockies on Thursday.

Advice: Contreras enjoyed his time in Colorado. He went 8-for-19 (.421) with a home run and a double in the four game series at Coors Field. The 26-year-old All-Star catcher is hitting .298 with an .804 OPS on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:04 pm
    • Quantrill allows two runs in no-decision
Cal Quantrill allowed two runs in five innings and got a no-decision in the Rockies’ 4-3 victory over the Brewers on Thursday.

Advice: Quantrill gave up five hits, walked four and struck out two. He gave up two runs on a two-run single by Andrew Monasterio in the fourth inning. His ERA is 3.77, but with a 4.38 xFIP and 74 strikeouts on the season he’s tough to stream while pitching half of his games at Coors Field let alone roster. The 29-year-old right-hander is set to face the Reds on the road next week.

    • Steals base, scores three runs
Suzuki went 2-for-3 with two walks, three runs and a stolen base Thursday against the Phillies.

Advice: Suzuki entered the game having struck out 12 times against just one walk in 25 plate appearances over his previous six games but reached base four times on two hits and a couple of walks, leading to a season-high three runs scored. It was just the fourth time this season Suzuki drew multiple free passes in a game. He also recorded his eighth stolen base of the season in 10 tries, leaving him just one shy of a career high.
