Walker went 2-for-3 with two homers, three RBI and three runs scored in Thursday's win over the Dodgers while also drawing two walks.

Advice: Walker was at it again Thursday, going back-to-back with Joc Pederson in the opening frame for the first baseman's first home run of the contest before then smacking a two-run shot in his next at-bat. The 33-year-old has now clubbed two home runs in back-to-back games and has gone deep in three consecutive games overall. Furthermore, Thursday marked his fourth straight game with multiple RBI and his fifth straight game with multiple hits. Over that latter stretch Walker's batting .650 (13-for-20) with five homers, 11 RBI and eight runs scored. Rotowire.com 32 minutes ago
    • Christian Walker homers twice again versus Dodgers
Christian Walker hit two more homers and walked twice Thursday as the Diamondbacks dominated the Dodgers 9-3.

Advice: Walker also homered twice Thursday. He has nine homers in nine games against the Dodgers this season, compared to 12 in 78 games against everyone else. With his OPS having climbed from .780 on Friday to .871 now, he’d seem to have a pretty good shot of finally landing his first All-Star berth. Rotoworld Yesterday, 9:29 pm
    • Struggles in Independence Day loss
Stroman (7-4) took the loss against Cincinnati on Thursday, pitching five innings and allowing five runs on five hits and two walks while striking out six batters over five innings.

Advice: Stroman struggled to keep the ball in the park Thursday -- of the five hits he allowed, three were long balls, and all five of the runs he yielded came on home runs. The right-hander hadn't been prone to the long ball coming in, as he hadn't given up a homer in three of his prior four stats. Stroman hasn't been pitching particularly well of late, though, as he has a 6.43 ERA across 21 frames covering his past four outings. The five earned runs he allowed against the Reds tied a season-high mark. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 9:06 pm
    • Lowe fills up stat sheet against Royals Thursday
Josh Lowe went 1-for-2 with a walk, a double, a run scored, an RBI and a stolen base against the Royals on Thursday.

Advice: Lowe’s stolen base was his sixth of the season. He drove in Isaac Paredes with an RBI double in the first inning and scored on Ben Rortvedt’s two-run single in the fifth inning. Jose Siri pinch hit for him later in the game with a left-handed pitcher on the mound. Lowe is hitting just .223 with a .709 OPS and 14 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:50 pm

    • Marcus Stroman allows three homers in loss to Reds
Marcus Stroman gave up five runs while hurling five innings in a loss to the Reds on Thursday.

Advice: The long ball was a problem for Stroman, as he gave up three homers accounting for all five runs. He walked two and struck out six in a start that would have looked fine without the roundtrippers. That’s not how this works, unfortunately. Stroman will take a 3.58 ERA into his final start of the first half against the Rays on Wednesday. Rotoworld Yesterday, 1:10 pm
    • Thomson: Schwaber could return on Tuesday
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said “it’s possible” that Kyle Schwarber (groin) could return on Tuesday when the Phillies begin their series against the Dodgers.

Advice: Schwarber is already running at 90% on the field and has not yet been on the IL for a week, so he likely wouldn’t need any rehab assignment if he progresses quickly. There are a few days to go, but it sounds like we might get a minimum stay for Schwarber on the IL. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:23 pm

    • Luis Rengifo undergoing MRI on right wrist
Luis Rengifo is out of the lineup for Thursday’s game against the Athletics with right wrist soreness.

Advice: X-rays came back negative for any fractures after Rengifo left Wednesday’s game against the Athletics with right hand soreness following a ninth-inning swing. However, he’s slated to undergo an MRI on Friday in Chicago to determine the extent of the injury, specifically whether he’s dealing with any structural damage. There should be an update on his status in the coming days, but fantasy managers shouldn’t expect him back until the weekend, even if he checks out completely fine. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:02 pm

    • X-rays negative, but MRI coming
Rengifo is not in the lineup Thursday in Oakland after X-rays on his right wrist came back negative, Jeff Fletcher of The Orange County Register reports.

Advice: Rengifo is set to undergo an MRI on Friday to check for structural damage. The super utility player was injured during Wednesday's loss to the Athletics while taking a swing in the ninth inning. Miguel Sano is playing third base for the Angels on Thursday. • Working out at 90 percent intensity
Phillies manager Rob Thomson said Thursday that Schwarber (groin) is going through drills at 90 percent intensity, Corey Seidman of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.

Advice: Meanwhile, Thomson pegged Bryce Harper (hamstring) and J.T. Realmuto (knee) at 70-to-75 percent as they go through drills. While it's possible all three players make it back prior to the All-Star break, Schwarber would appear to have the best shot to do so. He's coming back from a left groin strain.
