    • Making rehab start Friday
Kershaw (shoulder) is expected to throw four innings during a rehab start for Triple-A Oklahoma City on Friday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.

Advice: After being cleared to resume throwing July 2, Kershaw has been getting stretched out in anticipation of a big-league return. He threw three scoreless innings in his most recent rehab outing July 13, tossing 38 pitches in the game and 12 more in the bullpen afterward. The veteran lefty could be cleared to return from the 60-day injured list and rejoin the Dodgers' rotation next week. Rotowire.com Today, 11:28 am

    • Kyle Harrison starting Friday against Rockies
Kyle Harrison will start Friday’s second-half opener against the Rockies.

Advice: Harrison has allowed five runs on nine hits with a 5/5 K/BB ratio across 8 2/3 innings (two starts) since returning from a nearly one-month stint on the injured list and will take the ball on Friday night at Coors Field to open the second half. Given the extremely challenging matchup, fantasy managers should strongly consider leaving him on the bench outside of extremely deep mixed leagues and NL-only formats. • Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) starting Friday at AAA
Clayton Kershaw (shoulder) will make a minor league rehab start on Friday for Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Advice: It’ll be Kershaw’s third rehab outing as he continues to progress towards a mid-to-late August season debut coming off last year’s shoulder surgery. The 36-year-old veteran lefty struck out five over three shutout innings last weekend for Triple-A Oklahoma City. He figures to make an impact for fantasy managers over the final few weeks of the year, even in shallow mixed leagues. The results have been there for the future Hall of Fame southpaw, when healthy, over the last few years. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:50 pm

    • Jack Flaherty to start on Friday against Blue Jays
Jack Flaherty will start Friday’s series opener against the Blue Jays.

Advice: Flaherty has been dealing with a lingering back issue for the last few weeks, but it appears that he’s ready to roll at the outset of the second half after tossing six innings of one-run ball last Thursday against the Guardians to close out the first half. It’ll be Reese Olson and Keider Montero following him this weekend in Toronto for the rest of the series. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:44 pm

    • Tanner Bibee starting on Friday vs. Padres
Tanner Bibee will start Friday’s second-half opener against the Padres.

Advice: It’ll be Gavin Williams and Ben Lively taking the ball this weekend for the remainder of the three-game second-half opening home series against the Padres. Bibee got hit hard in his final two outings prior to the Midsummer Classic, but has emerged as a borderline elite strikeout source over the last few weeks. The uptick in whiffs could lead to a monster second half. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:43 pm

    • Matt Waldron to start Friday against Guardians
Matt Waldron will start Friday’s series opener against the Guardians.

Advice: It’ll be Dylan Cease and Michael King toeing the rubber this weekend at Cleveland’s Progressive Field for the remainder of the road series. Waldron has been hit-or-miss over the last few weeks, but has definitely cemented himself as a decent option for fantasy managers in deeper mixed leagues until further notice. • JP Sears starting Friday against Angels
JP Sears will start Friday’s game against the Angels.

Advice: Sears, who posted eight strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings of one-run ball last Wednesday against the Red Sox at Fenway Park, will be followed by Mitch Spence and Joey Estes over the weekend as Oakland kicks off the second half at home against the division-rival Angels. • Pirates turning to Martín Pérez to start on Friday
Martín Pérez will start Friday’s series opener against the Phillies.

Advice: It’s an extremely tough matchup out of the gate for Pérez as he’ll square off against a fully-loaded Phillies lineup to open the second half. It’ll be Luis Ortiz and Marco Gonzales this weekend for the rest of the series. We’d strongly recommend avoiding this entire trio for fantasy purposes. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:36 pm

    • Sean Manaea headlines Mets’ second-half rotation
Sean Manaea will start Friday’s series opener against the Mets.

Advice: Manaea, who holds a stellar 2.02 ERA and 36/15 K/BB ratio across 35 2/3 innings over his last six starts since June 14, will kick off the second half with an extremely favorable matchup against the floundering Marlins at pitcher-friendly loanDepot park. It’ll be Jose Quintana, Luis Severino and rookie Christian Scott following him over the next few days. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:31 pm
