    • Sitting against left-hander
Nimmo is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game versus the Dodgers.

Advice: Southpaw James Paxton is on the hill for the Dodgers, so the left-handed-hitting Nimmo will open Wednesday's game on the bench. Tyrone Taylor will patrol left field while Nimmo rests. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:48 am

    • Triples, scores in loss
Carroll went 1-for-3 with a walk, a triple and a run scored in Sunday's 3-1 loss to Miami.

Advice: Arizona's offense couldn't get anything going until Carroll tripled and scored in the bottom of the eighth inning. It was the outfielder's fourth triple of the season, all coming within the last eight games. However, there's been little to celebrate for Carroll, whose .188 average and .096 ISO are miles below what they were in 2023. Rotowire.com May 27, 4:13 am

    • Corbin Carroll triples and scores in loss to Fish
Corbin Carroll tripled, walked and scored a run as the Diamondbacks fell to the Marlins on Sunday afternoon in Miami.

Advice: The 23-year-old outfielder smacked a one-out triple off of Calvin Faucher in the eighth inning and dashed home with the Diamondbacks’ first run on a ground ball off the bat of Lourdes Gurriel Jr. While Carroll’s bat has perked up over the past couple of weeks, he’s still slashing an anemic .188/.274/.284 on the season to go along with two homers, 17 RBI and nine stolen bases. • Sitting vs. southpaw
Mullins is out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the White Sox.

Advice: With the White Sox sending left-hander Garrett Crochet to the mound Sunday, the lefty-hitting Mullins will take a seat for the second straight game. Mullins pinch hit in the seventh inning in Saturday's 5-3 win, striking out in his only at-bat. Rotowire.com May 26, 9:13 am
    • Cedric Mullins out Sunday against White Sox
Cedric Mullins is out of the lineup Sunday against the White Sox.

Advice: Mullins will get a day of rest with southpaw Garrett Crochet on the mound. Colton Cowser is getting the start in center field and he’ll hit ninth while Mullins gets a break. Rotoworld May 26, 8:49 am
    • Hitless but makes impact
Carroll went 0-for-2 with a walk, a stolen base, an RBI and a run scored in Saturday's 3-2 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Carroll managed to make an impact without a hit. He led off the bottom of the first inning with a walk then stole a base before scoring the club's first run. An inning later, his sacrifice fly plated what turned out to be the winning run. The move back up to the top of the order hasn't shaken Carroll out of a season-opening slump. He was batting .203 as of May 5, when manager Torey Lovullo moved him back into the familiar leadoff role. Seventeen games later, Carroll's average has dipped to .186. Rotowire.com May 26, 4:20 am

    • Not starting Saturday
Mullins is not in the starting lineup for Saturday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: Mullins will take a seat Saturday after going 0-for-3 with two strikeouts in Friday's 6-4 win over the White Sox. Baltimore will roll with Kyle Stowers in left field and Colton Cowser in center against Chicago right-hander Erick Fedde. Rotowire.com May 25, 8:43 am
