  • Corey Seager breaks out for four hits Tuesday
Dodgers shortstop prospect Corey Seager delivered four hits Tuesday in a win for Triple-A Oklahoma City.

Advice: The 21-year-old mega-talent homered twice Monday and is now batting .500 with four RBI over his last three contests. The former first-round pick has made a smooth transition to Triple-A, hitting .280 in 93 at-bats since his call-up. Seager is MLB.com's sixth-ranked prospect. It's no wonder the Dodgers let Hanley Ramirez walk in free agency with Seager waiting in the wings. Rotoworld.com

Elmore also had an RBI ground out in the team's three-run ninth. The outfielder has seven hits in his last 13 at-bats and has likely earned himself some more starts with his hot hitting. Nick Ahmed went 2-for-4 with a home run in Tuesday's loss to the Cardinals.

Advice: After going 35 games without a home run, Ahmed has now homered twice in his past five games. Ahmed also doubled in the game, raising his line to .218/.279/.311. That doesn't sound like much, but the shortstop is hitting .290 in May after a brutal April. Rotoworld.com

Wilmer Flores knocked in the tying and game-winning runs as the Mets walked off winners in 10 innings versus the Phillies on Tuesday.

In the 10th inning, he came to the plate with runners on the corners and two out. He lifted an Elvis Araujo offering into left field to bring in the winning run. He doubled in the sixth and later scored on a Chris Davis sacrifice fly, giving the Orioles a temporary 1-0 lead. Josh Harrison went 2-for-4 with an RBI double and two runs scored in Tuesday's victory against the Marlins.

It also sent his teammates home happy, as the win was the Reds' first in their last 10 tries. The 28-year-old has done a terrific job, batting .299/.374/.487 with five home runs and 21 RBI. Advice: Travis was placed on the DL on Thursday after battling a left shoulder injury for a few days. It's a minor ailment, though, as he's been given a cortisone shot and should resume full workouts before long. The rookie had been scuffling at the dish of late before the DL move, batting just .162/.205/.243 over his previous 10 games. Rotoworld.com

  • Russell smacks a homer in win over Padres
Addison Russell went 2-for-4 with a solo homer on Thursday in a win against the Padres.

Advice: The seventh inning blast off Dale Thayer provided an insurance run in the 3-0 triumph. Slowly but surely, Russell is getting up to speed. The 21-year-old rookie slashed .179/.207/.286 in 28 April at-bats (14/1 K/BB rate) after his promotion, but now boasts a May OPS over .800. He has drawn four walks in the past six games after taking only three in his first 21. Rotoworld.com

  • Blue Jays place Devon Travis (shoulder) on DL
Blue Jays placed INF Devon Travis on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to May 17, with left shoulder inflammation.

Advice: The Blue Jays had been playing it day-by-day with Travis who is dealing with a sore shoulder where he was hit by a line drive and then agitated with a swing during Saturday's game. His stay on the disabled list should be minimal, so expect him to rejoin the Jays lineup in early June. Rotoworld.com

  • Hardy notches go-ahead RBI single in eighth
J.J. Hardy broke a 4-4 tie in the eighth inning with an RBI single.

Advice: Hardy hit the one-out single off of Danny Farquhar to score Chris Davis, helping the Orioles to push back the Mariners 5-4. He finished 1-for-4. In the 12 games he's played since being activated from the disabled list on May 7, Hardy is 9-for-46 with two homers, a double and four RBI. He's currently hitting .196/.229/.348. The numbers aren't particularly good, but we'll preach patience for the time being. Rotoworld.com

  • Jays expect Travis to avoid disabled list
Blue Jays manager John Gibbons said Thursday that the team still expects Devon Travis (shoulder) to avoid the disabled list.

Advice: Travis is out of the lineup for the fifth straight game Thursday due to soreness in his left shoulder/collarbone. The Blue Jays could always backdate him on the disabled list as long as they keep him out of the lineup, but they don't think it will be necessary. Consider him day-to-day. Rotoworld.com

  • Harrison continues surge with three more hits
Josh Harrison had another three-hit game, going 3-for-6 in Wednesday's 13-inning loss to the Twins.

Advice: Harrison had a three-hit game on Tuesday and has three-plus hits in four of his last six games. He was thrown out attempting to steal, leaving him with just one success in four attempts this season. The speedster has picked up his batting line to .255/.289/.407, though, and he has four home runs with 11 RBI. Rotoworld.com

  • Brandon Phillips goes 3-for-5, doubles
Brandon Phillips went 3-for-5 with an RBI double against the Royals on Wednesday.

Advice: That's because he was batting second, and everyone the Reds have had bat second this year has experienced incredible success, for some reason. Of course, since no one else hits besides the No. 2 hitter, the Reds scored just that one run tonight. Phillips is batting .314. Incredibly, he's stolen five bases this month after stealing none in April, two in 121 games last year and five in 151 games in 2013. Rotoworld.com

  • Rendon hit and took grounders on Wednesday
Anthony Rendon (knee, oblique) hit in a cage and took some grounders with the Nationals on Wednesday.

Advice: Rendon was placed on the disabled list before Opening Day with a sprained MCL in his left knee and he suffered a strained oblique in early May while rehabbing that knee injury. The Nationals will continue to take it slowly with the 24-year-old third baseman. He's eventually going to need a minor league rehab assignment and remains highly doubtful to debut before the end of May. Rotoworld.com

  • Harrison stays hot with three hits in a loss
Josh Harrison went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI single, and a run scored as the Pirates dropped Tuesday's match-up with the Twins.

Advice: Harrison is on fire, now on a seven-game hitting streak with multiple hits in four of his last five games. It's a welcome sight for the Pirates, as Harrison broke out as an unlikely All-Star last season. His triple-slash line is up to .245/.281/.403 with four home runs, 11 RBI, and a stolen base. Advice: Dozier belted a Francisco Liriano offering to the opposite field, staking the Twins to a 1-0 lead in the first inning. The second baseman has hit home runs in three out of his last four games and five total in the month of May. Dozier is batting .264/.349/.500 overall with 20 RBI and three stolen bases. Rotoworld.com

Jimmy Paredes went 2-for-5 with a two-run single and a two-run home run Tuesday as the Orioles topped the Mariners.

Advice: Paredes tied the game up at 4-4 in the fourth inning with a two-run single off of Taijuan Walker. He then went yard off of Danny Farquhar to make it a 7-4 game in the sixth inning. Paredes has hit safely in 22 of his 25 games this year, leading to an incredible .346/.376/.625 triple-slash line with six home runs and 22 RBI. Rotoworld.com

  • Cabrera lifts second home run in win over ATL
Asdrubal Cabrera hit his second home run of the season in Tuesday's win over the Braves.

Advice: Cabrera hit a solo shot off Braves starter Mike Foltynewicz in the fourth inning, his only hit in four at-bats. Cabrera was given a prime opportunity early in the season, batting third for 23 games for manager Kevin Cash, but he failed to capitalize and has now been moved lower in the order. The infielder is batting just .214 with his two homers and 11 RBI in 39 games. Rotoworld.com
