      Suarez went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Thursday's 4-3 win over the Padres.

      Advice: The homer was Suarez's second hit over six games in June, though both knocks have gone for extra bases. The third baseman hasn't hit for average well in the last five years, but his .202 mark this season is poor even by his usual standard.       Advice: The home run was Morel’s 12th of the year. He’s hitting just .205 on the season, but his .212 BABIP is well below his career .287 BABIP. His 21 percent strikeout percentage is much improved from his career 29 percent strikeout percentage.       Oneil Cruz went 2-for-5 with a three-run homer and also stole a base on Thursday in the Pirates’ loss to the Dodgers.

      Advice: Cruz started his professional career with Los Angeles before being traded to the Pirates back in 2017 and came back to haunt his former club in this one with a three-run homer off Dodgers closer Evan Phillips in the eighth inning.
