    • Notches 15th save
Doval struck out two in a perfect ninth inning Tuesday to record his 15th save of the season in a 5-3 win over Atlanta.

Advice: The 26-year-old right-hander was in peak form, whiffing Adam Duvall with a 100.6 mph cutter to end the game. Doval blew his last save chance Friday though, and consistency has been an issue for him all year -- through 33.2 innings, he's posted a 4.28 ERA, 1.54 WHIP and 44:22 K:BB, a significant step backwards from his ratios the prior two seasons. • Handed tough-luck loss
Singer (4-5) was saddled with the loss Tuesday versus Tampa Bay, allowing one earned run on three hits and three walks while striking out four batters in five innings.

Advice: Singer was able to keep the Rays' bats relatively quiet Tuesday, as the only run scored against him came as a result of a wild pitch in the second inning. However, a lack of run support from his offense combined with a collapse of Kansas City's bullpen following a lengthy rain delay will cause the 27-year-old righty to take his third loss in five starts. Singer remains without a win since May 19, but he'll have a good opportunity to get back in the win column over the weekend when he faces Colorado. Rotowire.com Today, 12:37 am
    • Falls apart late
Berrios (8-6) picked up the win Tuesday against Houston, allowing five runs on five hits and two walks with one strikeout across five innings.

Advice: Berrios kept the Astros off the scoreboard until the fifth inning, where he unwound and allowed three singles, a hit-by-pitch and a three-run home run. Still, Berrios was able to snare a second straight win as the Blue Jays had compiled seven runs prior to the fifth. The 30-year-old has been shaky as of late, owning a 5.97 ERA with 17 strikeouts and eight home runs allowed over his last five starts. He's scheduled to face the Mariners on Sunday. • Collects three hits, homer
Judge went 3-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 5-4 loss to the Reds.

Advice: Judge accounted for half of the Yankees' hits Tuesday, including a solo home run in the seventh inning off Sam Moll. The long ball was Judge's 32nd of the season, five more than any other player in baseball. After seeing his average drop from .311 to .267 last season, Judge is batting a league-leading .321 across 374 plate appearances in 2024. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:51 pm
    • Clubs homer
Lindor went 2-for-5 with a solo home run, a double and an additional run scored during Tuesday's 7-2 extra-inning win over the Nationals.

Advice: Lindor got the Mets on the board with a sixth-inning solo home run off DJ Herz and came around to score the game-tying run in the eighth on a Brandon Nimmo single. The long ball was Lindor's 14th of the year, placing him in the top five among shortstops. He's slashing .249/.313/.446 with 56 runs and 15 stolen bases across 341 at-bats. • Teoscar Hernández plates three in Dodgers victory
Teoscar Hernández went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI on Tuesday night, propelling the Dodgers to a walk-off 6-5 victory over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Hernández got the party started in the first inning with a two-out RBI double off of Ryne Nelson. He also drove in the game’s second run with a fielder’s choice in the third inning. The best was yet to come though, as he dropped a two-out RBI single into left field off of Paul Sewald in the ninth inning, delivering a come-from-behind walk-off victory and sending the Dodgers’ home faithful into a frenzy. With the three-hit night, the 31-year-old outfielder is now hitting .254/.316/.480 with 18 long balls, 58 RBI and four stolen bases. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:21 pm
    • Walk-off hero Tuesday
Hernandez went 3-for-5 with a double and three RBI in Tuesday's 6-5 win over the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Hernandez plated the Dodgers' first two runs and then helped them finish off the back-and-forth game with a walk-off single in the ninth. This was his first multi-hit effort in seven contests -- he'd gone just 2-for-23 (.087) over his previous six games. Hernandez is up to .254/.316/.480 slash line with 18 home runs, 58 RBI, 44 runs scored, four stolen bases, 17 doubles and a triple through 84 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:13 pm
    • Brady Singer pitches well in loss to Rays
Brady Singer pitched well in a losing effort against the Rays on Tuesday night, allowing one run on three hits over his five frames.

Advice: Singer also issued three walks on a rainy evening in Kansas City while punching out four opposing hitters. The only run that scored against him came in the second inning as Richie Palacios scampered home on a wild pitch with two outs in the inning. The 27-year-old right-hander got 15 swings and misses on 88 pitches on the night — 10 of those on his slider — while posting a strong CSW of 32 percent. He’ll try to get back in the win column as he carries a 3.05 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and an 89/29 K/BB ratio (94 1/3 innings) into a tough matchup against the Rockies at Coors Field on Sunday. • Jose Berrios falters late in win over Astros
Jose Berrios allowed five runs on five hits in five innings in a win over the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: Berrios kept the Astros off the scoreboard for the first four innings, but the fifth inning was a bit of a disaster. The inning started with a hit by pitch and then a walk and then was followed by two singles and a home run to push five runs across the plate and end his day. The veteran has a 3.63 ERA on the year, but his underlying metrics suggest some regression is coming. Still, he should be able to survive a showdown against the Mariners this weekend.
