      Phillies manager Rob Thomson told reporters Friday that Trea Turner (hamstring) remains without a definitive timetable to return.

      Advice: Turner suffered a minor setback in his recovery from a left hamstring strain earlier this week when he experienced leg soreness following a high-intensity workout. He managed to resume fielding grounders and also did some light jogging prior to Friday’s game against the Cardinals, but doesn’t appear close to running the bases again, which would be his final hurdle prior to a minor league rehab assignment. It’s a frustrating situation for fantasy managers, but the Phillies can’t really afford to rush him back and risk another setback. At this point, a mid-June return seems like a best-case scenario.       Bibee (4-1) allowed a run on three hits and a walk over 6.1 innings Friday, striking out seven and earning a win over the Nationals.

      Advice: Bibee dominated in six shutout frames before Washington finally pushed home a run in the seventh. He's turned in three straight quality starts, dropping his season ERA from 4.34 to 3.74 during that span. The 25-year-old righty has allowed two or fewer runs in seven of his first 12 starts.       Tanner Bibee allowed one earned run across 6 ⅓ innings in a 7-1 win over the Nationals on Friday. He struck out seven and walked one.

      Advice: This was a tremendous start for Bibee mostly fueled by increased fastball velocity. His heater ticked up to 98 MPH and averaged 95.5 MPH, but tailed off in the seventh inning as the Nationals started to get around on him.       Randy Arozarena is absent from the Rays’ starting lineup for Friday night’s battle against the Orioles.

      Advice: The 29-year-old outfielder’s struggles have been well documented this season, as he’s hitting a mere .159/.258/.313 with eight homers, 19 RBI and a 66/25 K/BB ratio over 229 plate appearances. It sounds like he’s looking at an extended absence and will then require a minor league rehab assignment before he’s able to return to the Cardinals’ outfield.
