    • Homers in blowout loss
Mountcastle went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 19-8 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Mountcastle was one of six Orioles to produce multiple hits, but they couldn't keep up with a barrage of hits from the Athletics. The long ball ended a 23-game homer drought for Mountcastle, who now has 12 homers on the year. He's slashing .271/.313/.459 with 42 RBI, 44 runs scored, 21 doubles and two stolen bases across 81 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:29 pm
    • Collects save Saturday
Clase walked one and struck out none over a scoreless and hitless inning to earn the save in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Giants.

Advice: Clase has earned six saves and a win during his active nine-inning scoreless streak. He's added a 5:2 K:BB in that span. The closer is 26-for-29 in save chances this year with a 0.65 ERA, 0.63 WHIP and 39:5 K:BB across 41.1 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:47 pm
    • Will Smith homers again as Dodgers top Brewers
Will Smith homered again on Saturday, powering the Dodgers to a 5-3 victory over the visiting Brewers.

Advice: After homering in each of his final three at-bats on Friday night, Smith left the yard in his fourth straight at-bat with his 369-foot (101.6 mph EV) two-run shot off of Freddy Peralta in the opening inning on Saturday. In doing so, he became just the third player in Dodgers’ history to homer in four straight at-bats, joining Adrian Gonzalez (2015) and Shawn Green (2002). That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the night, but it played a significant role in propelling the Dodgers to victory. On the season, the 29-year-old backstop is now slashing .276/.348/.509 with 15 homers and 55 RBI. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:16 pm

    • Gore allows five runs in no-decision Saturday
Mackenzie Gore allowed five runs in 3 1/3 innings and got a no-decision in the Nationals’ 14-6 victory over the Cardinals on Saturday.

Advice: Gore gave up six hits, walked five and struck out five. The Nationals led 9-0 after two innings and Gore still couldn’t complete the necessary five innings to get the win. He’s allowed five runs in two of his last three starts and has a 3.83 ERA on the year. The 25-year-old left-hander is set to face the Mets on the road next week.

    • Padres place Yu Darvish on restricted list
Padres placed RHP Yu Darvish on the restricted list.

Advice: Padres’ manager Mike Shildt told reporters on Saturday that Darvish is dealing with a personal matter involving his family but wouldn’t elaborate. It’s not clear how long he’ll be away from the team for. The 37-year-old hurler is battling elbow inflammation in addition to his strained groin. Once he’s back with the club and ready physically, he’s likely to need at least a couple of rehab starts before he’s ready to return to action. Rotoworld Yesterday, 4:29 pm

    • Placed on restricted list
The Padres placed Darvish (elbow) on the restricted list Saturday, Kevin Acee of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.

Advice: Darvish has been on the injured list since the beginning of June due to a groin strain and right elbow inflammation, but he will now move to the restricted list as he deals with a personal matter. The Padres didn't provide any information regarding how long the 37-year-old might be away from the team. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 4:05 pm

    • Spencer Steer homers and walks in defeat
Spencer Steer homered and walked in a loss to the Tigers on Saturday.

Advice: Steer swatted a solo shot in the ninth inning, which is good, but it came with the Reds down 5-2, which is bad for Cincinnati and unimportant for fantasy managers. He’s really swung the bat well as of late while vastly improving his still slightly-underwhelming slash of .243/.336/.435. The 13 homers and 13 steals sure have helped, however. • Clase picks up AL-leading 26th save vs. Giants
Emmanuel Clase pitched a scoreless ninth inning and picked up the save against the Giants on Saturday.

Advice: The save was Clase’s 26th of the year. With another scoreless appearance, his ERA is down to 0.65. Only Ryan Helsley of the Cardinals has more saves than Clase does this year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 3:56 pm
    • Picks up 14th steal
Henderson went 1-for-5 with a stolen base and a run scored in Friday's 3-2 win over the Athletics.

Advice: Henderson has usually made an impact with power, but he flashed his speed Friday. He stole third base and scored on an error following his leadoff single in the first inning. The shortstop is 16-for-46 (.348) over his last 11 games, lifting his season slash line to .288/.379/.599 through 87 contests. He's added 27 home runs, 14 steals, 60 RBI, 76 runs scored, 18 doubles and four triples. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:40 am
