    • Sitting Sunday
Heim is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Royals.

Advice: Heim will sit Sunday after going 0-for-4 with one run, one RBI and four walks over the first two games of the series. Andrew Knizner will start behind home plate and bat eighth against Kansas City right-hander Alec Marsh. Rotowire.com 50 minutes ago

    • Sitting Sunday as expected
Varsho (back) is not in the starting lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Guardians.

Advice: Varsho will be given the day off Sunday after experiencing lower left back tightness on his swing in the ninth inning in Saturday's loss, per Arden Zwelling of Sportsnet.ca. The good news for Varsho is his injury is believed to be short-term, and the 27-year-old is expected to avoid a stint on the IL. Kevin Kiermaier will start in center field Sunday and bat ninth against Cleveland right-hander Triston McKenzie. Rotowire.com Today, 10:19 am

    • Jazz Chisholm Jr. returns at DH on Sunday vs. M’s
Jazz Chisholm Jr. (biceps) is in the lineup for Sunday’s series finale against the Mariners.

Advice: It’s a rare bit of positive injury news for Miami as Chisholm is back at designated hitter for Sunday’s series finale following an early exit from Saturday’s game due to right biceps tightness. It doesn’t sound like a serious concern at the moment and it’s certainly a welcome development for fantasy managers. Rotoworld Today, 9:08 am
    • Daulton Varsho out Sunday with back tightness
Daulton Varsho (back) is absent from the lineup for Sunday’s game against the Guardians.

Advice: As expected, Varsho will sit out Sunday’s series finale due to lower back tightness. The 27-year-old outfielder has been playing through the issue recently and the team doesn’t want to take any chances that it gets worse. Fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. • Goes yard again in loss
Abrams went 3-for-5 with a double, a homer, two RBI and two runs scored in Saturday's loss to the Rockies.

Advice: Abrams doubled in his second at-bat before coming around to score Washington's first run of the contest on a Lane Thomas single. The shortstop would then add a leadoff homer in the fifth to cut Colorado's lead down to one run, giving him 12 long balls on the season. Abrams has now logged multiple hits in three consecutive games and is batting .361 in June with three homers, 13 RBI and 12 runs scored. He's also struck out just twice over his last eight games while drawing four walks. Rotowire.com Today, 7:33 am

    • Showcasing power
Langford went 2-for-4 with a home run and four RBI in Saturday's 6-0 win over the Royals.

Advice: Langford provided insurance when he launched a grand slam in the eighth inning, giving the team a six-run lead heading into the final frame. Until this week, the rookie had been held to one inside-the-park home run, which was uncharacteristic for the prospect that carried 70-grade power. That all changed this week; Saturday's granny was the second outside-the-park home run this week for Langford, who is 7-for-15 with four extra-base hits and nine RBI over the last four contests. Since returning from a three-week stint on the injured list in May, Langford is slashing .299/.341/.481 with eight extra-base hits, 19 RBI and six steals over 21 games. • CJ Abrams clobbers 12th homer in loss to Rockies
CJ Abrams went 3-for-5 with a solo homer and two RBI on Saturday in the Nationals’ loss to the Rockies.

Advice: Abrams socked a majestic fifth-inning solo homer to right field -- his 12th round-tripper of the season -- off Rockies starter Cal Quantrill as part of a three-hit effort. The 23-year-old burgeoning fantasy superstar has notched six hits, including one homer and one steal, in 10 at-bats over two games at Coors Field since returning from a brief absence earlier this week due to a cyst near his left wrist. It certainly doesn’t appear that the lingering issue is going to impact his on-field performance based on what we’ve witnessed over the last few days in Colorado. He holds an impressive .829 OPS with 12 homers and 11 steals through 68 contests this season as he continues to build off last year’s breakout campaign. Rotoworld Today, 3:21 am

    • Still no baseball activity
Tucker (shin) ran on a treadmill Friday but still has not resumed on-field work, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Manager Joe Espada was optimistic that Tucker would ramp up his activity over the weekend, though that has yet to occur. Tucker will likely miss the entirety of Houston's series against the Rockies to start next week. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:35 pm

    • Lifts 16th homer
Alvarez went 1-for-4 with a two-run home run in Saturday's 5-1 win over the Orioles.

Advice: Alvarez has gone 4-for-12 with two homers over three games since returning from a family matter. The slugger has hit seven of his 16 long balls this season over 17 games in June, batting .359 (23-for-64) in that span. He's up to a .292/.363/.525 slash line, 41 RBI, 43 runs scored and three stolen bases over 74 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:07 pm
