    • Christopher Morel exits with injury on Wednesday
Christopher Morel was removed from Wednesday’s battle against the White Sox in the seventh inning after fouling a pitch off of his left foot in the seventh inning.

Advice: The 24-year-old finished the plate appearance where he worked a walk but was ultimately lifted for a pinch-runner. He’ll presumably head for X-rays to rule out any potential fractures in his foot and the Cubs should have an update on his status after the conclusion of Wednesday’s ballgame. • Royce Lewis homers again in loss to Yankees
Royce Lewis homered for the third consecutive game on Wednesday, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Twins past the Yankees.

Advice: Lewis went deep on opening day and then crushed another homer in his return from the injured list on Tuesday. He followed that up with a 373-foot (100.3 mph EV) solo shot off of Dennis Santana in the seventh inning that pulled the Twins to within six runs at 9-3. He finished the night 1-for-4 and is now hitting .571/.667/1.857 with three homers and three RBI through his first three games on the season. He just needs to stay healthy. • Homers in return from quad injury
Lewis went 1-for-1 with a home run and two walks in Tuesday's loss to the Yankees.

Advice: He got the start at third base in just his second game of the season after being injured Opening Day and missing nearly 10 weeks due to a strained right quad. Lewis is remarkably 3-for-3 with two home runs in those two games. It was a good sign for his health that he played defense as opposed to being eased into action at DH, but Lewis figures to get a day or two off over the next week as he gets back up to full speed. • Powers team to win
Morel went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and an additional run scored in Tuesday's 7-6 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Morel launched his 11th home run of the season and second in the last five games in the sixth inning to spark the Cubs' comeback victory. The 24-year-old has been a bit all or nothing this year, as he's batting just .201; however, his power potential alone should keep him in Chicago's lineup most days and gives him fantasy upside, which he flashed last season with 26 long balls in only 388 at-bats. • Morel hits 11th homer of season vs. White Sox
Christopher Morel went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in Tuesday’s win over the White Sox.

Advice: Morel hit his 11th home run of the season in the sixth inning off White Sox reliever Justin Anderson. After putting Cody Bellinger on first via a hit-by-pitch, Anderson hung a breaking ball to Morel, who blasted it 423 feet to deep left-center while cutting the White Sox’s lead to 5-3. In typical feast-or-famine fashion, Morel is now hitting .201 on the year with 16 extra-base hits and 37 RBI. Rotoworld Tuesday, 8:28 pm

    • Royce Lewis homers against Yankees in return
Royce Lewis clubbed a solo homer and walked twice on Tuesday in the Twins’ loss to the Yankees.

Advice: Of course. Lewis made an immediate impact in his return to Minnesota’s lineup on Tuesday night in New York, taking Yankees veteran reliever Tommy Kahnle deep for a seventh-inning solo shot to left field. The 25-year-old reached base safely in all three of his plate appearances and has two homers in just two games played on the year. The central question for fantasy managers moving forward is whether he can stay on the field for an extended period to establish himself as an elite fantasy contributor at the hot corner. • Twins activate Royce Lewis for Tuesday return
Twins activated INF Royce Lewis from the 10-day injured list.

Advice: Lewis is officially back at third base and batting fifth for Tuesday’s highly-anticipated series opener against the Yankees in New York. The talented 24-year-old homered and went 2-for-2 on Opening Day before leaving with his quad injury that cost him over two months. Lewis has the talent to be a major fantasy contributor, but there are going to be questions on whether he can stay on the field based on his lengthy injury history. Rotoworld Tuesday, 9:38 am

    • Returning from stint on IL
The Twins activated Lewis (quadricep) from the 10-day injured list Tuesday.

Advice: Lewis is ready to go following an absence of nearly 10 weeks due to a strained right quad. The 24-year-old went 4-for-23 with an 8:1 K:BB over 24 plate appearances during a six-game rehab stint with Triple-A St. Paul. Per Dan Hayes of The Athletic, the Twins have instructed Lewis to run at less than full speed in hopes that it will give him a better chance of staying healthy. While that could put a bit of a damper on his stolen-base outlook, it's not a big part of Lewis' game, anyway, as he's totaled just six steals in 71 career games. Lewis will regain his role as the Twins' everyday third baseman, with Jose Miranda likely to now see reps in the designated hitter spot and/or first base. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 8:24 am

    • Moving into reserve role
Cabrera is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Giants.

Advice: Since DJ LeMahieu returned from the injured list Tuesday to make his season debut, Cabrera has unsurprisingly been the odd man out of the New York lineup more often than not. He's made just two starts in the six games since LeMahieu's return and appears set to fill a utility role moving forward after holding down the fort at third base for much of the past two months.
