      Bobby Witt Jr. crushed his 13th home run of the season on Tuesday night, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Royals to victory over the Rays.

      Advice: The 24-year-old superstar got the Royals on the board with his 399-foot (108.0 mph EV) solo shot off of Kevin Kelly in the sixth inning. That would be his lone hit in four at-bats on the night. Witt has been a five-category monster for fantasy purposes this season, slashing .311/.362/.539 with 13 homers, 55 RBI, 66 runs scored and 22 stolen bases through his first 87 games.       Grayson Rodriguez was exceptional in Tuesday night’s victory over the Mariners, racking up eight strikeouts over 6 1/3 innings of scoreless baseball.

      Advice: The 24-year-old budding superstar scattered just two hits and four walks on the evening. Only once did the Mariners advance a runner past second base on Rodriguez in this one, and that came with two outs in the sixth inning before Rodriguez punched out Cal Raleigh to end the threat. He generated a whopping 19 swings and misses on 104 pitches on the night, posting a strong CSW of 32 percent.     • Jose Berrios falters late in win over Astros
      Jose Berrios allowed five runs on five hits in five innings in a win over the Astros on Tuesday.

      Advice: Berrios kept the Astros off the scoreboard for the first four innings, but the fifth inning was a bit of a disaster. The inning started with a hit by pitch and then a walk and then was followed by two singles and a home run to push five runs across the plate and end his day. The veteran has a 3.63 ERA on the year, but his underlying metrics suggest some regression is coming. Still, he should be able to survive a showdown against the Mariners this weekend.       Tyler Freeman went 2-for-4 with a home run and two RBI in a win over the White Sox on Tuesday.

      Advice: The home run was Freeman’s seventh of the season to go along with 30 RBI. Despite some concerns about his playing time, Freeman has started five of the last six games in center field for the Guardians. His expected stats still suggest there should be some batting average gains coming for the 25-year-old, but he might never be a real asset in that category.       Luis Robert Jr. went 2-for-4 with a home run, four RBI, and a stolen base in a loss to the Guardians on Tuesday.

      Advice: Robert drove in two runs on a 363-foot home run in the sixth inning and then knocked in two more on a game-tying single in the seventh. He’s now up to 10 home runs on the season but just 18 RBIs in a depleted White Sox lineup. He also has four steals to add to his five-category fantasy upside.
