    • Out of Tuesday's lineup
Estrada is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Marlins, Shayna Rubin of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Advice: Estrada started the first 17 games of the season and will receive a breather Tuesday after going 7-for-16 with two doubles and two homers over the previous four games. Tyler Fitzgerald will man the keystone and bat ninth. Rotowire.com 34 minutes ago

    • Ke’Bryan Hayes scratched from Tuesday’s lineup
Ke’Bryan Hayes has been scratched from the lineup for Tuesday’s contest against the Mets.

Advice: No word yet on the reason for the move. It’ll be Jared Triolo taking over at third base in his absence on Tuesday evening. Rotoworld Today, 2:36 pm

    • Not in Tuesday's lineup
Mountcastle is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Twins.

Advice: Mountcastle is off to a hot start this season with a .305/.368/.492 slash line through 15 games, but he'll take a seat for Tuesday's contest. Ryan O'Hearn will shift to first base while Adley Rutschman rests his legs as the designated hitter. Rotowire.com Today, 2:31 pm
    • Christian Yelich lands on IL with back strain
Brewers placed OF Christian Yelich on the 10-day injured list, retroactive to April 13, with a lower back strain.

Advice: Yelich finally lands on the injured list after sitting out three straight contests due to back discomfort. The 32-year-old outfielder will get some additional time off the rest and recover from his latest back issue with the hope that it doesn’t become a lingering concern moving forward. He was off to a really nice start at the dish early on this season, batting .333 (13-for-39) with seven runs scored, five homers, 11 RBI and two steals through 11 games. He’s not expected to require a lengthy absence and figures to return to Milwaukee’s lineup before the end of April. Rotoworld Today, 2:29 pm

    • Lands on injured list
The Brewers placed Yelich on the 10-day injured list Tuesday with a lower-back strain.

Advice: Yelich's move to the IL is retroactive to Saturday, so he will be eligible to return beginning next Tuesday. It's unclear whether or not the 32-year-old outfielder will be ready to return by then, but his condition has improved since sustaining the injury during Friday's game against Baltimore. While he's out, Blake Perkins will likely continue seeing regular playing time in the outfield, and the Brewers will promote Owen Miller from Triple-A Nashville to add to their depth. • Scratched from lineup
Hayes was scratched out of Tuesday's lineup versus the Mets.

Advice: Hayes was initially slotted to start at third and hit third Tuesday. Oneil Cruz will enter the lineup at shortstop and bat seventh with Jared Triolo shifting to Hayes's position and spot in the order. The reasoning for the 27-year-old's removal from the Pirates' lineup is not yet clear. Rotowire.com Today, 2:27 pm

    • Justin Verlander to make ’24 debut later this week
Justin Verlander (shoulder) will make his season debut on Friday or Saturday against the Nationals.

Advice: Verlander completed a bullpen session on Tuesday without any issues and will officially take the ball later this week in Washington for his highly-anticipated season debut. The 41-year-old righty was brought along slowly this spring after dealing with a shoulder issue, but is finally ready to return to Houston’s starting rotation. There are some obvious durability and workload concerns for Verlander moving forward, but he’s likely to make a significant impact for fantasy managers when healthy. Rotoworld Today, 2:19 pm

    • Absence continues Tuesday
Yelich (back) is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres.

Advice: The 32-year-old hasn't seen the field since Friday, and he'll sit for the fourth straight game as he continues to deal with the back injury. According to Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, the Brewers considered Tuesday a deadline for a potential IL move for Yelich, but it remains to be seen if he's shifted to the shelf. • On base three times Monday
Lindor went 2-for-4 with a walk, a double and a run scored in Monday's win over the Pirates.

Advice: It's been a tough start to the campaign for the shortstop, but Lindor is beginning to come around. He's delivered back-to-back two-hit games, and over the last eight contests he's batting .257 (9-for-35) with two doubles, a homer, four RBI, six runs and a sharp 4:1 BB:K. Rotowire.com Today, 7:44 am
