    • Ryan Pressley gets second save for Astros
Ryan Pressly worked a scoreless ninth with a two-run lead for his second save Tuesday against the Giants.

Advice: Pressly unsurprisingly got the nod over Bryan Abreu with Josh Hader unavailable after working the previous two days. Pressly has been used as the Astros’ eighth-inning guy throughout, even though, with his 5.19 ERA, he’s been noticeably less effective than Abreu. Rotoworld Tuesday, 9:26 pm

    • Resumes throwing off mound
Mets manager Carlos Mendoza said Tuesday that Senga (shoulder) threw a bullpen session Sunday and will throw another one Wednesday, Laura Albanese of Newsday reports.

Advice: It's the first time Senga has thrown from the bump since he had to be shut down due to right triceps tightness. The hurler originally landed on the injured list due to a shoulder injury and is not expected back until after the All-Star break. Senga will need multiple rehab starts before returning, but it's not clear when he might be ready to pitch in games. Rotowire.com Tuesday, 1:17 pm

    • Kodai Senga to throw bullpen session on Wednesday
Kodai Senga (shoulder) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session on Wednesday.

Advice: Senga isn’t expected to return until after next month’s All-Star break at this juncture as his rehabilitation from an offseason shoulder issue has hit several snags along the way. The 31-year-old righty got through a bullpen session over the weekend without any issues and appears to be finally ramping up his throwing program. No word yet on when he’ll progress to facing hitters before being set for a minor league rehab assignment. Rotoworld Tuesday, 1:12 pm

    • Victorious once more
Rodriguez (7-2) picked up the win Sunday against Tampa Bay, allowing two runs on two hits and one walk across 5.2 innings. He struck out six.

Advice: Rodriguez retired the first 15 batters he faced Sunday but got into trouble during the sixth before exiting. After walking the leadoff batter in the sixth, Rodriguez generated a strikeout and a lineout but got the hook after allowing back-to-back singles. Still responsible for runners on first and third, Rodriguez was charged with a second earned run when Randy Arozarena hit an RBI single off Dillon Tate. Rodriguez has earned seven wins in 11 starts this season, owning a 3.21 ERA with a 10.1 K/9. He's on track to make his next start during a home series against the Phillies next weekend. • Dazzles with 10 Ks
Skubal (8-1) picked up the win Sunday versus Milwaukee, allowing one earned run on five hits and two walks while striking out 10 batters in 6.2 innings.

Advice: Skubal nearly went seven scoreless innings, but he allowed an RBI triple to Brice Turang before being pulled. Skubal dominated the Brewers, inducing 17 swinging strikes and allowing only one extra-base hit, turning in his ninth quality start over his past 10 games. The southpaw has been one of the best pitchers in baseball, compiling a 1.92 ERA and a 0.89 WHIP with 96 strikeouts in 79.2 innings. He is tentatively scheduled for a road start in Houston next weekend. Rotowire.com Sunday, 1:43 pm

    • Grayson Rodriguez tires in 6th in win over Rays
Grayson Rodriguez allowed two runs on two hits in 5 2/3 in a win over the Rays on Sunday.

Advice: Rodriguez struck out six and walked one on the day while posting a 33 percent whiff rate and 32 percent CSW. It was a solid day overall for the 24-year-old who tired with two outs in the sixth inning. Rodriguez walked the first batter of the sixth before getting two quick outs. However, he would then allow two straight hits to score a run and had another run come in to score off a reliever. Rodriguez remains one of the most talented young pitchers in the game and will carry a 3.27 ERA into a tough matchup against the Phillies next week. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:38 pm

    • Tarik Skubal strikes out 10 in defeating Brewers
Tarik Skubal fanned 10 while limiting the Brewers to one run in 6 2/3 innings in the Tigers’ 10-2 victory Sunday.

Advice: Skubal hit a career-high 101.7 mph on the gun today while working to Rhys Hoskins in the third. His other two hardest pitches in the game (99.4 and 99.1 mph) also came in that at-bat, which ended with Hoskins out on a foul popup. Skubal moved to 8-1 with a 1.92 ERA. He’s tied for third in the majors in wins, he’s fifth in ERA and he’s fourth in strikeouts with 96. Rotoworld Sunday, 1:19 pm

    • Start pushed to Friday
Reds manager David Bell said Sunday that Greene's next start will be pushed to Friday against the Brewers, Charlie Goldsmith of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.

Advice: The right-hander was previously expected to start Tuesday versus Cleveland, but he'll get a bit of extra rest this week after throwing 111 pitches in each of his past two starts. Greene gave up nine earned runs in those outings but has a 3.61 ERA, 1.15 WHIP and 84:32 K:BB over 77.1 innings this season. Rotowire.com Sunday, 11:24 am

    • Hunter Brown tosses six scoreless to beat Halos
Hunter Brown struck out seven over six shutout innings on Saturday in a win over the Angels.

Advice: Brown followed up Houston ace Framber Valdez’s complete-game effort on Friday evening with his fourth consecutive quality start, scattering two hits and four walks over six impressive frames. Los Angeles had him on the ropes in the opening frame, but he managed to escape a bases-loaded jam by striking out Matt Thaiss on a 98.2 mph heater to extinguish the early threat. The 25-year-old righty has rebounded from an abysmal start to the year by posting a posting a 3.05 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and 43/15 K/BB ratio across 38 1/3 innings (seven appearances, six starts) since May 5. He’ll square off against the Tigers on Friday in his next outing. Rotoworld Sunday, 3:14 am
