      Corbin Carroll went 1-for-4 with a single as the Diamondbacks were demolished by the Padres on Saturday night in San Diego.

      Advice: Hitting out of the eighth spot in the Diamondbacks’ lineup, the 23-year-old outfielder singled with two outs in the fifth inning but was left stranded at first base. He struck out in each of his other two plate appearances in the ballgame.       Advice: Bohm was removed from Saturday's game versus the Giants with right hip flexor tightness, but his exit was considered precautionary and it sounds like he should be fine.       Alec Bohm (hip) told reporters after Saturday’s game that he expects to return to the Phillies’ lineup on Sunday.

      Advice: Bohm elaborated, saying “I’m good. I’ve played through much worse. He's turned in four straight quality starts after throwing five shutout frames in his 2024 debut. Gray's next start is lined up to come at home against the Mets.
