    • Ozzie Albies homers, plates three to lead Braves
Ozzie Albies homered and drove in three runs on Saturday night, propelling the Braves to a 5-1 victory over the visiting Phillies.

Advice: Albies got the scoring started in the home half of the first inning with an RBI single off of Ranger Suárez that scored Jarred Kelenic. He then rode home on Marcell Ozuna’s two-run blast. Albies tacked on a mammoth 431-foot (113.7 mph EV) two-run shot off of Suárez in the fifth inning that made it a 5-1 ballgame. He finished the evening 2-for-4 and is now hitting .266/.320/.423 with eight long balls and 43 RBI on the year. Rotoworld 50 minutes ago

    • Out against LHP
Lowe isn't in the Rays' lineup for Saturday's game against the Rangers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

Advice: Southpaw Andrew Heaney will start on the mound for Texas, so the left-handed bat of Lowe will begin Saturday's contest on the bench, opening up right field for Jonny DeLuca. Rotowire.com Today, 11:00 am

    • Josh Lowe on bench Saturday against southpaw
Josh Lowe is not in the lineup for Saturday’s game against the Rangers.

Advice: Rays manager Kevin Cash is rolling with an all right-handed lineup on Saturday afternoon against Rangers southpaw Andrew Heaney, which means Lowe will start this one on the bench. The 26-year-old corner outfielder is batting .259 (14-for-54) with three homers and six steals over his last 15 contests. Rotoworld Today, 10:35 am

    • Nabs 16th steal
Chisholm went 2-for-4 with a walk and a stolen base in Friday's 3-2 loss to the White Sox.

Advice: For the second straight game, Chisholm reached base three times while swiping a base. The 26-year-old has been doing his job of late at the top of the order, slashing .315/.378/.397 over his last 21 games, but he's scored only seven runs over that stretch due to the overall struggles of the Miami offense. On the season, Chisholm is batting what would be a career-high .262 with 10 homers, 16 steals, 37 runs and 40 RBI in 85 contests. Rotowire.com Today, 7:44 am

    • Pilfers two bags Friday
Robert went 2-for-3 with two walks and two stolen bases in Friday's 3-2 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Miami had trouble keeping Robert off the bases or preventing him from taking an extra bag when he got there, but his teammates couldn't bring him home. The 26-year-old has hit safely in eight straight games and 13 of his last 15, and over the latter stretch he's slashing .310/.394/.552 with three homers, five steals, eight RBI and 10 runs. • Struggles continue Friday
Holmes blew his fifth save chance of the season in Friday's 5-3 extra-inning loss to the Red Sox, giving up two runs on two hits in the ninth inning without striking out a batter.

Advice: With two outs in the ninth and the Yankees holding a 3-1 lead, Holmes gave up a single to Dominic Smith before leaving a sinker over the middle of the plate that Masataka Yoshida blasted to right field for a game-tying homer. Holmes has been tagged for runs in five of seven appearances since his last save June 9, stumbling to a 10.80 ERA and 1.65 WHIP in 6.2 innings over that stretch despite an 8:0 K:BB. His spot as the Yankees' closer doesn't seem to be in jeopardy yet, but the 31-year-old will likely need to right the ship before the trade deadline if he doesn't want New York shopping for his replacement. • Alex Bregman hits three-run homer in Astros’ win
Alex Bregman went 2-for-4 with a three-run homer and two walks Friday as the Astros edged the Twins 13-12.

Advice: Bregman’s seemingly meaningless homer made it a 13-5 game in the ninth before the Twins almost came all of the way back in the bottom of the inning. It was Bregman’s first homer since June 3 and 10th of the year. At .251/.314/.403, he’s been essentially a league-average hitter halfway through his walk year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 11:53 pm

    • Clay Holmes blows save by giving up homer
Clay Holmes took his fifth blown save after giving up a game-tying two-run homer Friday against the Red Sox.

Advice: Holmes retired the first two batters he faced, but then a single and a homer ruined his night. The homer, a 405-foot blast from Masataka Yoshida, was just the second he’s allowed in 36 innings this season. He’s been stuck on 19 saves since June 9, and while that’s mostly the fault of his teammates, he has given up runs in five of his last seven appearances. Even though Holmes is almost certainly one of the game’s 15- or 20-best relievers, there is the chance that the Yankees will supplant him in the closer’s role at the trade deadline. • Strong in seventh win
Castillo (7-9) allowed a run on two hits and two walks while striking out eight over 6.2 innings to earn the win Friday over the Blue Jays.

Advice: Castillo earned his first quality start in four outings with this impressive performance. The only run on his line was a solo home run by Kevin Kiermaier in the sixth inning. Castillo is now at a 3.72 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 111:32 K:BB through 111.1 innings over 19 starts this season. He's projected to make his next start on the road versus the Angels in a favorable matchup.
