    • Josh Lowe (oblique) kicks off rehab assignment
Josh Lowe (oblique) went 0-for-3 on Friday in a minor league rehab game for Triple-A Durham.

Advice: Lowe got through nine innings in center field on Friday evening after his scheduled rehab debut was rained out on Thursday. He figures to get in a couple additional contests this weekend for Triple-A Durham. It’s notable that he’s getting work in center field and he could be an option at the position over José Siri once he’s ready to return. The 26-year-old fantasy standout has been on the shelf since late February due to an oblique strain. Rotoworld 29 minutes ago

    • Tallies second homer
Lindor went 2-for-5 with a home run, two RBI and two runs scored in Friday's win over the Dodgers.

Advice: Lindor cracked a 390-foot two-run homer off Daniel Hudson in the seventh inning to put the Mets ahead for good. After opening the season with a dreadful 1-for-31 stretch, the Mets shortstop has started to look better at the plate lately. Lindor is batting .255 (12-for-47) with two homers, 10 runs scored and three RBI over his last 11 games. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:25 pm
    • Plays nine innings in rehab game
Lowe (oblique) played nine innings in center field and went 0-for-3 with a walk during a rehab assignment with Triple-A Durham on Friday.

Advice: Lowe was originally set to begin his rehab assignment Thursday, but the game was rained out. Perhaps most notable about his initial appearance was his defensive position, as he's primarily played in right field in the majors. However, with Jose Siri struggling early, the team could opt to replace him with Lowe and rely on a combination of Richie Palacios and Amed Rosario in right field. • Francisco Lindor swats go-ahead homer vs. Dodgers
Francisco Lindor went 2-for-5 with a two-run homer and a stolen base to help the Mets to a 9-4 win over the Dodgers on Friday.

Advice: With the score tied at 4-4, Lindor blasted a two-run shot off Daniel Hudson in the seventh inning to give the Mets a 6-4 lead and ultimately the win. Lindor has gone deep twice in 2024, and the stolen base gives the 30-year-old his first swipe of the campaign. It’s been a rough start to the year for Lindor, but there’s plenty of reason to think he’ll bounce back quite nicely over the long season. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:20 pm
    • Notches save Friday
Foley issued a walk and struck out one batter in a scoreless inning Friday. He earned a save in the win over Minnesota.

Advice: Foley worked around a two-out walk to finish off the 5-4 win Friday. He's now converted all six of his save chances and is riding a 10-inning scoreless streak to open the 2024 campaign. The 28-year-old has produced a 10:6 K:BB during that span. However, four of those walks have come over his last 2.2 frames. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 8:02 pm
    • Jason Foley slams door on Twins on Friday night
Jason Foley slammed the door on the Twins on Friday night, protecting a one-run lead to secure his sixth save of the season.

Advice: The hard-throwing right-hander came on with a one-run lead to protect and responded by striking out Byron Buxton and getting Carlos Santana to ground out to first base. He did allow a two-out walk to Willi Castro — who then stole second base — but battled back to get Christian Vazquez to fly out to left field to end the game. Foley has been outstanding on the season — registering a pristine 0.00 ERA, 1.10 WHIP and a 10/6 K/BB ratio (10 innings) to go along with a pair of victories and six saves. • Heads to bench Friday
Stott is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the White Sox.

Advice: Sott has a .618 OPS through 19 games this season and will take a seat Friday as lefty Garrett Crochet starts for Chicago. Edmundo Sosa will handle the keystone and bat eighth. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:38 pm

    • Dealing with hamstring tightness
Happ was removed from Friday's game against the Marlins due to tightness in his left hamstring, Andy Martinez of Marquee Sports Network reports.

Advice: Manager Craig Counsell said the decision to remove Happ from the game was precautionary, as he missed time during spring training due to a strain in the same hamstring. The 29-year-old's status for the weekend remains unclear, though it's certainly possible he sits down for a game or two in order to properly recover. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:10 pm

    • Ian Happ leaves game with tight hamstring Friday
Ian Happ was removed from Friday afternoon’s game against the Marlins due to tightness in his left hamstring.

Advice: Cubs’ skipper Craig Counsell told reporters after the game that it was a precautionary measure. He’ll be re-evaluated on Saturday but the club is hopeful that the 29-year-old outfielder won’t have to miss any substantial time. Happ did battle a similar hamstring injury at the beginning of spring training. Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:04 pm
