      Brenton Doyle homered twice, doubled and walked Monday as the Rockies edged the Brewers 8-7 in 10 innings.

      Advice: Doyle’s second homer tied the game in the bottom of the eighth. The center fielder was dropped from second to seventh in the Rockies lineup before the game, presumably because he’d hit .200/.225/.292 in his previous 16 games. The two homers gave him nine or the year, and he also swiped his 20th base.       Doyle went 3-for-4 with two homers, a steal, three RBI and three runs scored in Monday's 8-7 win over the Brewers.

      Advice: Doyle opened the game's scoring when he blasted a mammoth 445-foot, two-run homer off Bryse Wilson in the second. The Colorado center fielder then cracked a solo shot in the eighth to tie the game at 7-7. Doyle also added his 20th stolen base of the season when he nabbed second in the fourth inning. After a rough .203 batting average in his rookie year, the 26-year-old sophomore has become a steady producer in 2024, now hitting .260 with nine homers, 48 runs scored and 30 RBI. Hernandez has started just three of the Dodgers' past seven games, and he carries a mediocre .208/.274/.312 slash line along with four homers and 12 RBI over 190 plate appearances on the campaign. He flew out his first time up and then took off from there, tripling in the fourth and then later completing things with a three-run blast in his final at-bat of the evening in the eighth. Langford is putting together quite the rookie campaign despite the season struggles from the Rangers. He became the first rookie in MLB history with a cycle, a grand slam and an inside-the-park home run in a season. He also became the first Rangers rookie to hit for a cycle since 1985. Langford caps off a productive month of June, during which he slashed .309/.368/.526 with three homers, 22 RBI, 11 runs, six steals and an 8:17 BB:K in 106 plate appearances.
