    • Progress picking up
Tucker (shin) has seen his recovery pick up in recent days and is planning to do on-field work during the team's series at Toronto, MLB.com reports.

Advice: Manager Joe Espada suggested that Tucker "turned a corner" in his recovery, citing the quality of swings Tucker was taking in the batting cage Monday. His recovery has gone far slower than expected, and he'll still likely need a rehab assignment before being activated. Rotowire.com 6 minutes ago

    • Falls apart late
Berrios (8-6) picked up the win Tuesday against Houston, allowing five runs on five hits and two walks with one strikeout across five innings.

Advice: Berrios kept the Astros off the scoreboard until the fifth inning, where he unwound and allowed three singles, a hit-by-pitch and a three-run home run. Still, Berrios was able to snare a second straight win as the Blue Jays had compiled seven runs prior to the fifth. The 30-year-old has been shaky as of late, owning a 5.97 ERA with 17 strikeouts and eight home runs allowed over his last five starts. He's scheduled to face the Mariners on Sunday. • On base four times in win
Donovan went 3-for-4 with a walk, one RBI and one run scored in Tuesday's 7-4 win over the Pirates.

Advice: Donovan had just six hitless games in June -- two of which were at the start of the month and two more at the end. He got off to a positive start in July with Tuesday's effort, his third three-hit game over his last 11 contests. He's up to a .270/.340/.414 slash line with eight home runs, 42 RBI, 37 runs scored, two stolen bases, 18 doubles and one triple over 79 games. Donovan's hit well enough to have a near-everyday role in left field. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:51 pm

    • Perfect for 18th save
Diaz picked up the save Tuesday against the Yankees, striking out one across a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Diaz only needed nine pitches to retire Trent Grisham, Austin Wells and Anthony Volpe in order Tuesday. Diaz has fired five consecutive scoreless innings and is up to 18 saves on the season which is tied for eighth most in baseball. Despite the strong save total, Diaz owns a 4.60 ERA across 31.1 innings. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:50 pm
    • Snags fourth win
Clase (4-1) pitched a perfect inning to earn the win Tuesday over the White Sox.

Advice: Clase kept the game tied at 6-6 in the top of the ninth inning, needing just 10 pitches to retire the side. Bo Naylor's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the frame sealed the win for the Guardians, giving Clase his first decision since May 19. The closer is on an eight-inning scoreless streak and has maintained elite ratios with a 0.67 ERA, 0.62 WHIP and 39:4 K:BB through 40.1 innings overall. Clase is also 25-for-28 in save chances this year, with the Guardians having bounced back to win in all three of his blown saves. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:36 pm
    • Hits three-run homer in win
Rafaela went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Marlins.

Advice: Rafaela hit a three-run home run off Valente Bellozo in the fourth inning to break the game open for the Red Sox. He hit .315 in June and stayed productive to open July with his first home run since June 17. On the season, the 23-year-old is hitting .244 with nine home runs, 44 RBI, 40 runs scored and 10 steals over 304 plate appearances while primarily splitting time between center field and shortstop. • Jose Berrios falters late in win over Astros
Jose Berrios allowed five runs on five hits in five innings in a win over the Astros on Tuesday.

Advice: Berrios kept the Astros off the scoreboard for the first four innings, but the fifth inning was a bit of a disaster. The inning started with a hit by pitch and then a walk and then was followed by two singles and a home run to push five runs across the plate and end his day. The veteran has a 3.63 ERA on the year, but his underlying metrics suggest some regression is coming. Still, he should be able to survive a showdown against the Mariners this weekend. • Alexis Díaz earns a save in win over Yankees
Alexis Díaz pitched a scoreless ninth inning to earn a save in a 5-4 win over the Yankees on Tuesday.

Advice: Díaz has now converted 11 straight save chances and has pitched to a 1.98 ERA in 14 2/3 innings over that stretch. However, some of the early command issues remain as Díaz has a 13.2 percent walk rate over that same span. He may remain volatile given his subpar command and he doesn’t miss as many bats as your typical closer, but he remains locked into the closer’s role on a solid team and will continue to rack up saves. • Soler hits 10th homer of season to down Braves
Jorge Soler went 1-for-5 with a home run in Tuesday’s win over the Braves.

Advice: Soler hit his 10th homer of the season on Tuesday night when he hit a 407-foot shot off Reynaldo López to give the Giants their first run of the game. Soler has now hit in three straight games and has driven in three RBI over that span while tallying five extra-base hits. The recent power surge is an encouraging sign for the veteran DH, who entered the day slashing .230/.311/.398. Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:26 pm
