Thomas went 3-for-4 with a three-run home run, an additional run, a double, a walk and two stolen bases in Wednesday's 7-2 win against Atlanta.

Advice: Washington was being shut out by rookie hurler Spencer Schwellenbach until Thomas tagged him for a three-run homer in the fifth inning. That was the biggest highlight of a very productive performance by the outfielder, who added a couple cherries on top with a pair of steals in the ninth frame. This was Thomas' third game back since missing over a month while on the injured list, and he's gone 5-for-13 with four extra-base hits since his return. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 10:20 pm

    • Josh Naylor collects two hits in loss to Rockies
Josh Naylor went 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI against the Rockies on Wednesday.

Advice: Naylor brought a run in to score in the first inning with a groundout, then knocked a single in the third. He later doubled to lead off the sixth for his second hit of the day. The 26-year-old first baseman has slowed down considerably after a strong April. Still, eight of his 18 hits this month have left the yard. Naylor is hitting .240/.324/.515 with 15 homers and 41 RBI across 225 plate appearances. Rotoworld Wednesday, 8:13 pm

    • Lane Thomas homers, steals two bases
Lane Thomas went 3-for-4 with a go-ahead three-run home run, double, walk, two runs scored, and two stolen bases in the Nationals win over the Braves on Wednesday.

Advice: Thomas has been scorching hot since coming off the IL on Monday going 5-for-13 with four extra-base hits. The stolen bases were his first two since being activated and pushed his total up to 13 on the year despite missing more than a month. Rotoworld Wednesday, 7:36 pm

    • Two homers in rout of Mets
Smith went 3-for-5 with a double, two solo home runs and a third run scored in Wednesday's 10-2 win over the Mets.

Advice: The catcher took David Peterson deep in the second inning before getting a hold of an Adam Ottavino sweeper in the eighth. It was Smith's first multi-homer game of the season, and the pair of blasts gave the 29-year-old 100 for his career -- making him the fourth catcher in history to reach triple digits in a Dodgers uniform along with Mike Piazza, Roy Campanella and Steve Yeager. On the season, Smith is slashing .296/.360/.516 with nine long balls and 36 RBI through 49 contests. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 7:06 pm

    • Will Smith homers twice, Dodgers demolish Mets
Will Smith launched two homers on Wednesday, leading the Dodgers to a 10-3 victory over the Mets.

Advice: Smith led off the second inning by taking Mets starter David Peterson deep before capping off his second career multi-homer performance with an eighth-inning blast off veteran reliever Adam Ottavino. He finished with three hits in this one, spearheading the Dodgers’ 10-run, 16-hit offensive explosion at Citi Field against a reeling Mets squad. The 29-year-old fantasy stalwart has homered four times in his last five contests and is up to nine round-trippers through 49 contests. Rotoworld Wednesday, 5:30 pm

    • Plays both games in twin bill
Smith went 1-for-9 with a solo home run in Tuesday's doubleheader versus the Mets.

Advice: Smith caught all 10 innings during Game 1 of the twin bill, then remained in the lineup as the Dodgers' DH in Game 2. He produced one of the team's three runs in the nightcap with a solo homer to left field. Smith's use as the designated hitter after catching in Game 1 highlights how valuable his bat is to the team, though his opportunities to fill the DH role have been more limited this season with Shohei Ohtani in the fold. • ‘Banged-up’ Semien sits for first time since 2022
A “banged up” Marcus Semien is out of the Rangers lineup Wednesday for the first time since May 12, 2022.

Advice: Semien has been playing at less than 100 percent after colliding with Adolis García in left field on May 18 and is just 4-for-33 at the plate in eight games since the incident. The Rangers are off Thursday and are hoping that a two-day break will help. Rotoworld Wednesday, 9:48 am
    • Lengthy starting streak ends
Semien is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Semien will get a day off for the first time since May 12, 2022, ending a streak of 349 consecutive regular-season starts. Though Semien isn't nursing a new injury, manager Bruce Bochy told Shawn McFarland of The Dallas Morning News that the 33-year-old will be getting a couple days of rest -- Texas is off Thursday -- before returning to the lineup Friday in Miami since he's been playing a little banged up after he was involved in a collision in the outfield with teammate Adolis Garcia in a May 18 game. Ezequiel Duran will step in at second base in Semien's stead Wednesday, while designated hitter Travis Jankowski takes over Semien's spot atop the batting order. Rotowire.com Wednesday, 9:43 am
    • Sitting versus lefty
Cruz is absent from the lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Tigers.

Advice: Detroit is sending lefty ace Tarik Skubal to the hill in the first game of the doubleheader, so the left-handed-hitting Cruz will begin the contest on the bench. Cruz should be back in the lineup for second game, when the Tigers will start righty Keider Montero. Alika Williams is garnering the start at shortstop in the first tilt.
