    • Homers in blowout loss
Mountcastle went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Saturday's 19-8 loss to the Athletics.

Advice: Mountcastle was one of six Orioles to produce multiple hits, but they couldn't keep up with a barrage of hits from the Athletics. The long ball ended a 23-game homer drought for Mountcastle, who now has 12 homers on the year. He's slashing .271/.313/.459 with 42 RBI, 44 runs scored, 21 doubles and two stolen bases across 81 contests. Rotowire.com Today, 10:29 pm
    • Clean inning for save
Scott struck out one in a perfect inning to earn the save in Saturday's 4-3 win over the White Sox.

Advice: Scott is on a 10-inning scoreless streak, during which he's maintained an 11:3 K:BB with five saves and a win. The closer continues to excel for the Marlins, though the team's poor performance has limited him to 13 saves this year. He's posted a 1.42 ERA, 1.08 WHIP and 42:23 K:BB through 38 innings, though he's made progress to cut back on walks during his recent strong stretch. Rotowire.com Today, 10:06 pm

    • Homers in win over Giants
Kwan went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Giants.

Advice: Kwan has gone deep in two of his last three games, and he's hit five homers over his last 17 contests while batting .294 (20-for-68) in that span. While he's cooled off from flirting with a .400 batting average in mid-to-late June, he continues to impress with his consistency at the plate. The outfielder has a .365/.421/.542 slash line for the year while adding nine homers, 27 RBI, 52 runs scored and four stolen bases over 61 contests. Rotowire.com Today, 8:54 pm

    • Diagnosed with bruised ankle
Pfaadt left Saturday's game against the Padres due to a left ankle contusion.

Advice: Pfaadt was hit in the ankle by a 98 mph comebacker in the fifth inning of his start and was immediately removed. The Diamondbacks have labeled the injury a bruised left ankle but expect Pfaadt to continue to be evaluated in the coming days. His next start is projected to come Thursday against Atlanta. • Brandon Pfaadt exits after being hit by comebacker
Brandon Pfaadt was pulled from Saturday’s start against the Padres in the fifth inning after taking a 98-mph comebacker off the bat of Luis Arraez off of his left foot/ankle.

Advice: He’ll presumably head for X-rays to see if there’s any structural damage. Prior to exiting, Pfaadt had allowed just one run on seven hits while punching out six opposing batters over his 4 1/3 innings of work. He also had a 2-1 advantage and lost his shot at a victory with his early removal. The Diamondbacks should have an update on his status before the night is through. Rotoworld Today, 8:20 pm
    • Hit by comebacker, leaves game
Pfaadt was removed from Saturday's game against the Padres after being struck in the foot by a comebacker in the fifth inning, Nick Piecoro of The Arizona Republic reports.

Advice: Luis Arraez hit a 98 mph comebacker at Pfaadt that ended up hitting the 25-year-old pitcher in the left foot/ankle area. Pfaadt allowed one run on seven hits and no walks with six strikeouts over 4.1 innings prior to exiting. The Diamondbacks will likely send Pfaadt in for imaging and we should know more about his health postgame. Rotowire.com Today, 8:15 pm
    • Will Smith homers again as Dodgers top Brewers
Will Smith homered again on Saturday, powering the Dodgers to a 5-3 victory over the visiting Brewers.

Advice: After homering in each of his final three at-bats on Friday night, Smith left the yard in his fourth straight at-bat with his 369-foot (101.6 mph EV) two-run shot off of Freddy Peralta in the opening inning on Saturday. In doing so, he became just the third player in Dodgers’ history to homer in four straight at-bats, joining Adrian Gonzalez (2015) and Shawn Green (2002). That would be his only hit in four at-bats on the night, but it played a significant role in propelling the Dodgers to victory. On the season, the 29-year-old backstop is now slashing .276/.348/.509 with 15 homers and 55 RBI. Rotoworld Today, 7:16 pm

    • Cruz blasts 13th home run in loss to Mets Saturday
Oneil Cruz went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run against the Mets on Saturday.

Advice: Cruz’ home run was his 13th of the season. He hit a two-run shot off David Peterson in the second inning. Cruz was hitting just .145 with two home runs in 76 at-bats against left-handed pitching entering Saturday. He’s hitting .244 with a .737 OPS and 39 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 4:34 pm

    • Kwan belts ninth home run in win Saturday
Steven Kwan went 2-for-4 with two runs scored and a solo home run against the Giants on Saturday.

Advice: Kwan’s home run was his ninth of the season. He hit a single in the first inning against Kyle Harrison and came around to score on an RBI groundout by Josh Naylor. In the second inning, he homered off Harrison. That’ll do. Kwan is hitting .365 with a .963 OPS and 27 RBI on the season. Rotoworld Today, 3:58 pm
