    • Bailey Falter works around walks for win vs. ATL
Bailey Falter allowed just a run over five innings to get a win Sunday against Atlanta.

Advice: Falter only allowed two hits, and he struck out five. He did have some control issues however with four free passes and 49-of-81 pitches counting for stikes. The 27-year-old lowers his ERA to 3.87 while improving his win-loss record to 4-6. Falter is scheduled to face the Mets next weekend, and fantasy managers can probably do better in terms of potential streaming options. Rotoworld 18 minutes ago
    • Gabriel Moreno (thumb) could return Tuesday
Gabriel Moreno (thumb) could be activated off the injured list as as soon as Tuesday, Jody Jackson of the Diamondbacks reports.

Advice: Moreno was placed on the injured list last Saturday with a sprained left thumb, and he’ll be eligible for activation Tuesday. The 24-year-old may get a couple extra days, but the Diamondbacks already announced they don’t believe he needs a rehab assignment, so it would take something unforeseeable for him not to be back before the middle of the week. • Bo Bichette out of lineup Sunday against Yankees
Bo Bichette is not in the starting lineup for Sunday’s tilt against the Yankees.

Advice: It’s a scheduled off day for Bichette after he returned off the injured list Tuesday from his calf strain. Isiah Kiner-Falefa will get the start at shortstop in his place and hit leadoff. Rotoworld Today, 9:40 am

Bichette is out of the lineup for Sunday's game versus the Yankees.

Advice: Per Shi Davidi of Sportsnet.ca, Bichette will get a scheduled day off after he started the past four games upon his return from the injured list Tuesday. Since coming off the IL, Bichette has gone 3-for-17 with three walks, a double and five runs. Isiah Kiner-Falefa will shift to shortstop while Ernie Clement receives a start at third base. • Getting afternoon off
Wong is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.

Advice: Wong will get the afternoon off after he started behind the plate both of the past two days, going 2-for-8 with an RBI between those contests. Reese McGuire will draw the start at catcher in the series finale. Rotowire.com Today, 7:16 am

    • Pitches well in no-decision
Olson allowed two runs on five hits across six innings and did not factor into the decision in Saturday's contest against the Angels. He walked three and struck out nine.

Advice: The nine strikeouts are a new season high, though the three walks also matched a season high, as Olson was a bit all over the place Saturday. He still managed a solid outing overall despite missing out on his third win of the year. The righty's 2-8 record isn't fitting of his 3.32 ERA and 1.20 WHIP across 89.1 innings this season. Olson will look for a little better luck and some more run support in his next scheduled start, which is penciled in for Friday against the Reds. Rotowire.com Today, 6:01 am
    • Reese Olson strikes out nine Saturday vs. Angels
Reese Olson struck out nine and allowed two runs over six innings on Saturday in a no-decision against the Angels.

Advice: Olson gave up a pair of early runs in the third inning on a wild pitch and a run-scoring ground out from Willie Calhoun, but managed to escape the frame without any further damage. The 24-year-old righty went on to silence Los Angeles’ lineup, generating 15 swinging strikes — including 10 on his slider alone — into the middle innings before Detroit’s bullpen wound up surrendering a late lead. He’ll been on a roll lately, allowing two earned runs or fewer in three consecutive starts since June 17. He’ll bring a 3.32 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 81/26 K/BB ratio across 89 1/3 innings (16 starts) into a road matchup on Saturday against the Reds in his penultimate outing prior to the All-Star break. • Continues to dominate
Skenes allowed one run on six hits and two walks while striking out nine batters over six innings in a no-decision against Atlanta on Saturday.

Advice: Skenes surrendered a leadoff homer to Jarred Kelenic on his third pitch of the game, but that was the only run the talented rookie allowed. The right-handed hurler matched opposing ace Max Fried with a six-inning, six-hit, one-run line, though Skenes was more dominant with 13 whiffs and nine punchouts. Skenes has gotten stronger as he's settled into life in the big leagues. He's tossed four straight quality starts, posting a minuscule 1.07 ERA along with a 32:4 K:BB over 25.1 innings during that span. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 10:37 pm
    • Reaches 10-homer mark
Vientos went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run scored in Saturday's 9-6 loss to the Astros.

Advice: Vientos has flexed his power recently with five homers over his last nine games. In that span, he's batting .324 (12-for-37) with seven RBI and 10 runs scored. The third baseman is at a .297/.355/.578 slash line with 10 long balls, 23 RBI, 24 runs scored, no stolen bases and six doubles through 141 plate appearances this year. As long as the 24-year-old continues to hit well, he should have no trouble holding onto a starting job at the hot corner. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:11 pm
