• Clean ninth inning
Chapman struck out two without allowing a baserunner across a scoreless ninth inning against the Reds on Wednesday.

Advice: Chapman entered the game in the ninth inning with a five-run lead, marking his first appearance since Saturday. He struggled to begin the season but has pitched well for significant stretches, most recently allowing two earned runs across 8.2 innings in June while posting a 13:4K:BB. Chapman should see most of Pittsburgh's save chances while David Bednar (oblique) is sidelined. Rotowire.com Today, 6:11 am
  • Perfect at plate in big win
Alvarez went 3-for-3 with a home run, a double, a walk, three total runs and three total RBI in a 12-2 victory versus the Yankees on Wednesday.

Advice: Alvarez touched up Yankees starter Luis Gil for a two-run homer in the third inning and added a run-scoring double in the fifth. The catcher also singled for his third three-hit performance during his current nine-game hitting streak. Alvarez has been scorching during that stretch, batting .516 (16-for-31) with three home runs, nine RBI and a 7:7 BB:K. His slash line is up to an impressive .313/.383/.521 on the campaign. • Francisco Álvarez unstoppable in win
Francisco Álvarez went 3-for-3 with a home run, double, walk, three runs scored, and three RBI in the Mets’ 12-2 win over the Yankees.

Advice: It’s very easy to forget that Álvarez is only 22-years-old. It’s even easier to forget he just missed nearly two months with a torn ligament in his left thumb. Since returning, he’s slashing .414/.500/.732 with 3 homers, 11 RBI, seven walks, and eight strikeouts in 14 games. His offensive ceiling is absurd. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:50 pm
  • Excellent in doubleheader
Kelenic went 6-for-9 with a home run, four RBI and one stolen base over both games of Wednesday's doubleheader versus the Cardinals.

Advice: Kelenic knocked in half of Atlanta's runs in the matinee games, and he added an RBI single for their lone run in the nightcap. The outfielder has enjoyed a strong June, going 25-for-78 (.321) with five homers, 13 RBI and three steals over 21 contests this month. He's up to a .282/.321/.459 slash line with eight long balls, 25 RBI, three steals, 24 runs scored and 11 doubles through 65 games on the year. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 7:38 pm

  • Jarred Kelenic collects three hits against Braves
Jarred Kelenic went 3-for-4 with a run scored against the Cardinals on Wednesday.

Advice: After slugging a homer in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader against the Cardinals, Kelenic collected three more hits in the second game. His base hit in the eighth inning drove in the only run of the game for Atlanta. The 24-year-old outfielder has performed well since taking over the leadoff spot. He’s slashing .279/.318/.457 with eight homers and three steals across 223 plate appearances. Rotoworld Yesterday, 6:39 pm

  • Jarred Kelenic goes 3-for-5, homers in Braves’ win
Jarred Kelenic went 3-for-5 with a homer, three RBI and a steal in the Braves’ 6-2 victory over the Cardinals in the first game of Wednesday’s doubleheader.

Advice: We’re still not all in on the Kelenaissance here, but the 24-year-old should continue to offer mixed-league value while leading off regularly for the Braves. The homer today was his eighth in his last 38 games (and eighth in 64 games for the year). Rotoworld Yesterday, 2:45 pm

  • Taking seat Wednesday
Naylor is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game in Baltimore.

Advice: Naylor will get some rest in the series finale after he caught both of the Guardians' last two contests while going 4-for-8 with two doubles, one triple, three runs and two RBI. Austin Hedges will pick up the start behind the plate Wednesday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:43 pm

  • Takes swings in batting cage
Casas (ribs) took approximately 20 swings in the batting cage Wednesday at about 75-percent effort, Molly Burkhardt of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Casas resumed hitting for the first time since he was diagnosed with a cartilage tear in his left ribcage in late April. He said he felt great during the workout, but he noted that the real test will be to see how sore he is Thursday. If Casas isn't experiencing too much discomfort Thursday, he could be cleared to start hitting off a tee. Casas undoubtedly will require a rehab assignment before returning from the 60-day injured list, and it's uncertain when he might be ready for game action. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 12:36 pm

  • Triston Casas (rib) swings in cage for first time
Triston Casas, coming back from torn rib cartilage, swung in a cage without incident Wednesday.

Advice: The Red Sox haven’t talked about what Casas’s MRI showed, but the fact that he was allowed in the cage today indicates that it was good news. Casas will see how he feels tomorrow, but an early July return seems possible here. Rotoworld Yesterday, 12:28 pm
