    • Swats 10th homer
Neto went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run in Monday's 5-3 win against Milwaukee.

Advice: Neto provided what turned out to be the winning margin with his two-run shot in the fourth inning. The long ball was his 10th of the season through 260 plate appearances, one more than he hit across 329 plate appearances as a rookie last year. Three of Neto's homers have come over his past six games, and he's produced seven RBI while batting .318 over that span. Rotowire.com Today, 12:18 am

    • Logs 13th save Monday
Estevez earned a save against the Brewers on Monday, striking out one batter in a perfect ninth inning.

Advice: Estevez had little trouble protecting a two-run, ninth-inning lead, retiring the side in order on 13 pitches. The veteran reliever has turned things around after a rough middle portion of May -- he hasn't allowed a baserunner in seven straight outings, racking up six saves and a win during that span. As such, his hold on the Angels' closer role is, for now at least, very secure. Rotowire.com Today, 12:09 am
    • Clubs another homer
Ramos went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Monday's 7-6 win over the Cubs.

Advice: Ramos has multiple hits in 10 of his 15 games in June, and he's also hit seven homers and driven in 18 runs this month. The 24-year-old has put it all together, going from fading prospect to a leader in the Giants' offense after seizing an everyday role in May. He's at a .328/.404/.577 slash line with nine long balls, 31 RBI, 16 runs scored, seven doubles and one stolen base over 36 contests. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 11:17 pm

    • Zach Neto homers to propel Angels past Brewers
Zach Neto hit a two-run homer Monday to lead the Angels to a 5-3 win over the Brewers.

Advice: Angels manager Ron Washington has utterly refused to hit Neto in the top half of the order, but the 23-year-old has been one of the team’s best players in batting .249/.297/.440 with 10 homers in 260 plate appearances. He’s not yet a finished product and it’s possible he’ll struggle to reach his true potential while playing for one of MLB’s most dysfunctional franchises, but the sky really is the limit here. • Carlos Estévez perfect in seventh straight outing
Carlos Estévez threw a scoreless ninth with a two-run lead for a save Monday against the Brewers.

Advice: It was Estévez’s seventh consecutive perfect inning, a stretch that’s lowered his ERA from 5.06 to 3.52. He still doesn’t seem like a great bet going forward, but he certainly has it working now. Rotoworld Yesterday, 10:01 pm
    • Ramos belts ninth home run against Cubs Monday
Heliot Ramos went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in the Giants’ 7-6 victory over the Cubs on Monday.

Advice: Ramos’ home run was his ninth of the season. He’s now homered in three of his last four games and has four consecutive games with at least two hits. Ramos has taken the league by storm with a .328 average and .981 OPS in 36 games with the Giants this year. Rotoworld Yesterday, 8:32 pm

    • Red Sox hopeful David Hamilton (side) avoids IL
Red Sox manager Alex Cora said he’s hopeful David Hamilton can avoid an IL stint after leaving Monday’s game with left side discomfort.

Advice: The Red Sox knew about it before the game and let him start anyway, but he had to leave in the fourth. “We’ll see how he comes tomorrow,” Cora said. “I think we were proactive so hopefully not an IL stint, but we’ll know more tomorrow.” Rotoworld Yesterday, 7:16 pm
    • Dealing with side issue
Hamilton (side) exited Monday's contest against Toronto due to left side discomfort in the fourth inning, Mac Cerullo of the Boston Herald reports.

Advice: Hamilton was removed from the game in bottom of the fourth inning after striking out for a second time in the top of the frame. The shortstop may have tweaked something in his side in his final at-bat of the day. Romy Gonzalez and Ceddanne Rafaela could see more work at shortstop if Hamilton has to miss time. • David Hamilton exits game with side discomfort
David Hamilton departed Monday’s game due to left side discomfort.

Advice: That’s not usually good, but there’s the chance it might be minor. If Hamilton is forced to the IL, perhaps the Red Sox would take a look at Chase Meidroth at shortstop. The other option would be to just bring back Jamie Westbrook, who was sent down today. In that case, Romy Gonzalez and maybe Ceddanne Rafaela would play short. Rotoworld Yesterday, 5:38 pm
