    • Placed on IL
The Giants placed Flores on the 10-day injured list Friday with right knee tendinitis, Maria I. Guardado of MLB.com reports.

Advice: Flores has been slumping at the plate lately, going just 2-for-19 with three RBI in his last six games. He'll now be sidelined for at least 10 days due to his knee, and starting first base duties will be given back to LaMonte Wade (hamstring), who was activated off the injured list in a corresponding move. • Giants place Wilmer Flores (knee) on 10-day IL
Giants placed INF Wilmer Flores on the 10-day injured list with left knee tendinitis.

Advice: Flores has been battling the knee issue for a couple of weeks now so the Giants finally decided to sit him down and get him right. • On bench again
Raley (shoulder) is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Twins.

Advice: Raley was scratched from Wednesday's game with shoulder soreness and, despite Thursday's team off day, he'll remain out of the starting nine for the series opener against Minnesota. Up to this point, all indications are that the injury isn't of concern. Dominic Canzone, Julio Rodriguez and Mitch Haniger fill the outfield Friday. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 2:31 pm

    • X-rays negative, but not in lineup
The X-rays on Rutschman's right hand came back negative, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports, but Rutschman is not in Friday's lineup against the Rangers.

Advice: Rutschman's throwing hand was hit by a foul tip early on in Thursday's game versus the Rangers, although he finished the contest and even homered. He's feeling better Friday and should be fine, but the Orioles have elected to give him a day of rest. James McCann will do the catching for Albert Suarez. Rotowire.com Yesterday, 1:22 pm

    • X-rays come back negative for Adley Rutschman
Orioles’ manager Brandon Hyde told reporters on Friday that X-rays on the injured right hand of catcher Adley Rutschman came back negative for any fractures.

Advice: The 26-year-old backstop injured his hand when he was hit by a foul tip during Thursday’s victory over the Rangers.
