Mitchell Parker allows three runs in loss to Guardians
Mitchell Parker allowed three runs with five strikeouts over 5 2/3 innings in a loss to the Guardians on Saturday.
Advice: Parker got into some trouble in the first inning, issuing two walks to load the bases before Kyle Manzardo brought two runners in to score on a single. José Ramirez would score a third run for the Guardians in the third inning on a wild pitch. Parker would pitch into the sixth without allowing another run, leaving with two outs and two runners on at 98 pitches. He struck out five on the day. The 24-year-old left-hander will take a 3.60 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, and a 43/12 K/BB ratio across 50 innings into a home matchup against the Braves on Thursday.
