    • Freddy Peralta struggles with command Saturday
Freddy Peralta struggled with his command in a no-decision against the Tigers on Saturday afternoon, giving up four runs (three earned) on four hits and five walks in just 3 1/3 innings of work.

Advice: The right-hander struck out three batters on the day. He had to really labor to get 10 outs in the ballgame, needing 94 pitches (56 strikes) to do so. Most of the damage came during a three-run uprising in the second inning as Carson Kelly and Mark Canha contributed run-scoring singles. Peralta got just five swings and misses in the contest, posting an underwhelming CSW of only 24 percent. He’ll attempt to bounce back as he carries a 3.95 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and a 92/26 K/BB ratio (70 2/3 innings) into Friday’s matchup against the Reds. Rotoworld 30 minutes ago
    • Drives in go-ahead runs
Pasquantino went 1-for-4 with a two-run double in the Royals' 8-4 win over the Mariners on Saturday.

Advice: Pasquantino broke a 3-3 tie with a two-out double in the bottom of the fifth that brought home two. It was the 26-year-old's ninth multi-RBI effort of the season and his third over his last eight games. He now has 43 RBI this season, which is second on the Royals behind Bobby Witt. Pasquantino's been a steady producer in the middle of the Royals' lineup all season and will carry a .244/.317/.433 line into Sunday's game. Rotowire.com 39 minutes ago
    • Falls to Nats
Morton (3-3) took the loss Saturday against Washington, allowing five runs (four earned) on seven hits over five innings. He struck out three.

Advice: The Nationals got to Morton early Saturday, scoring three runs in the first two innings. The 40-year-old Morton has had a tough time with Washington this year, yielding 12 earned runs over 10.2 innings in two starts against the Nats. His ERA now sits at 4.12 on the season with a 1.30 WHIP and 68:28 K:BB across 67.2 innings. Morton will look to get back on track in his next outing, currently scheduled for next week at home versus Tampa Bay. Rotowire.com 54 minutes ago
    • Takes loss versus Royals
Castillo (5-7) took the loss to the Royals on Saturday, allowing five runs on six hits and one walk while striking out four over five innings.

Advice: Castillo had a tough outing as he gave up a season-high five runs in his seventh loss of the season. His offense gave him the lead two separate times Saturday, but he gave it back each time as he snapped a streak of 10 straight starts allowing two earned runs or fewer. Castillo remains one of the more consistent and durable starters in baseball, he's gone at least five innings in all of his 14 starts and will take a 3.35 ERA into his next outing. • Charlie Morton surrenders five runs in loss
Charlie Morton allowed five runs -- four earned -- with three strikeouts over five innings in a loss to the Nationals on Saturday.

Advice: Morton hit a batter and allowed a base hit to put two runners on in the first inning before Eddie Rosario drove in two runs with a double. The Nationals brought a run in to score on two hits in the second. A pair of doubles in the fourth inning made it four runs for the Nationals. Morton tossed one more inning, ending his day after five frames. The 40-year-old right-hander will carry a 4.12 ERA,, 1.30 WHIP, and a 68/28 K/BB ratio across 67 2/3 innings into a start against the Rays in Atlanta on Friday. Rotoworld Today, 3:40 pm
    • Luis Castillo struggles in loss to Royals
Luis Castillo gave up five runs over five innings while allowing four strikeouts against the Royals on Saturday in a loss.

Advice: Castillo allowed six hits and issued a walk while striking out four. It was easily his worst start since April, as the 31-year-old had gone 10 straight starts while allowing no more than three runs, and only one of those outings saw him give up more than two. It happens. Castillo still has a healthy 3.35 ERA on the season over 14 efforts, and he gets to face the lowly White Sox next week. Rotoworld Today, 3:34 pm
    • Manny Machado (hip) remains out of Padres lineup
Manny Machado (hip) was held out of the Padres’ starting lineup for the third consecutive game on Saturday.

Advice: Unlike the previous two days though, Machado did participate in a full pregame workout with the team, indicating that his return is imminent. He should once again be available off the bench if needed on Saturday. Donovan Solano will start in his place at third base and bat fifth for the Brewers against Ryne Nelson and the Diamondbacks on Saturday evening in Arizona. Rotoworld Today, 3:16 pm

    • Sitting out third straight
Machado (hip) isn't in the Padres' lineup for Saturday's game against the Diamondbacks.

Advice: Machado will miss his third start in a row Saturday, although he was able to participate in pregame drills for the first time since straining his right hip flexor Wednesday, per Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune. Donovan Solano will continue to fill in for Machado at third base, batting fifth against right-hander Ryne Nelson. Rotowire.com Today, 3:12 pm

    • Continues to mash
Tatis went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and an additional run in Friday's 10-3 win over Arizona.

Advice: Tatis set the tone for a big offensive game by the Padres with his first-inning solo homer. The long ball extended his hitting streak to 13 games, during which he has slashed .434/.474/.660 with three home runs, seven RBI, nine runs and a stolen base. Tatis leads San Diego with 11 homers on the campaign and has driven in 33 runs while slashing .282/.357/.458 and swiping seven bags overall. Rotowire.com Today, 8:24 am
