    Advice: After pitching a scoreless first inning, Nelson went on to get tagged for runs in each of the next three frames before being relieved by Scott McGough with two outs in the fourth. The second inning was especially disastrous for the 26 year old when he failed to retire either of the first four batters he faced and also beaned Byron Buxton and Willi Castro with pitches. Nelson has now allowed at least five runs in two of his last four starts, while Wednesday marked the first time he's given up 10 or more hits since May 17 against Detroit.     Woods Richardson (3-1) picked up the win over the Diamondbacks on Wednesday, allowing three runs on four hits and two walks over 5.1 innings. He struck out four.

    Advice: Woods Richardson allowed just one run over the first five innings but had to be relieved by Josh Staumont with one out in the sixth after allowing two of the first three batters to reach. It marked the right-hander's first win since May 28 against the Royals, though he's now walked multiple batters in three consecutive outings, and in five of his last six overall.     Ohtani went 1-for-2 with a solo home run and two runs scored in Wednesday's win over the White Sox while also drawing two walks.

    Advice: For the second game in a row, Ohtani crushed a leadoff home run to open the contest, giving the superstar slugger 25 on the season and 11 in the month of June. He's now homered in five of his last six games and has posted at least one RBI in 10 straight, raising his average to .322 on the campaign, which leads the major leagues.     Advice: Fedde got off to a rough start, surrendering a leadoff home run to Shohei Ohtani to open the game before getting tagged for another three runs in the third. The right-handed veteran would allow just one more hit over his final three frames, but the damage had already been done as the White Sox's offense failed to provide any run support. Fedde has now gone at least six innings in four consecutive starts and hasn't walked more than one batter in any of his six outings this month.     Advice: Stone was spectacular Wednesday, matching his season high with seven strikeouts en route to recording the first complete-game shutout of his major league career. The right-hander went 1-2-3 through five of his nine innings of work and didn't allow a runner to reach second base outside of a leadoff double from Gavin Sheets to open the second. Stone has now won each of his last five decisions (spanning six starts) and has also posted at least six strikeouts in five of his last six outings.     Curry (0-2) allowed two runs on three hits and struck out one without walking a batter over three innings, taking the loss Wednesday versus the Orioles.

    Advice: This was Curry's first appearance since he was recalled from Triple-A Columbus on Monday. He spared the Guardians' bullpen in Wednesday's contest, but solo home runs by Cedric Mullins and Ryan O'Hearn were enough to stick Curry with the loss. The right-hander has struggled in limited major-league action this year with a 5.74 ERA, 1.34 WHIP and 9:3 K:BB over 15.2 innings across four appearances (three starts).     Advice: Gil was stung by both hard hits and walks -- three of the four knocks he allowed went for extra bases, and he also surrendered four free passes. His final two walks were particularly detrimental, as both runners came around to score following his departure. Gil has now put forward two straight poor outings, giving up 12 runs over 5.2 innings across his past two starts. He had a 2.02 ERA and was being mentioned in discussions about AL Cy Young Award contenders after a June 14 win against Boston, but his subsequent struggles have increased is ERA by over a run to 3.15.     Advice: Eovaldi had a troublesome third inning, allowing Jackson Chourio to reach on a leadoff single before letting Christian Yelich and Willy Adames get on base with two outs, leading to a Jake Bauers grand slam. The other run charged to Eovaldi came in the fourth frame, when Derek Hill couldn't make a diving catch in center field, allowing Chourio to get all the way around the bases for an inside-the-park home run. Eovaldi's five runs allowed tied his season high, and he's allowed a home run in five consecutive starts. Overall, he owns a 3.45 ERA and 74 strikeouts across 73.0 innings.     Keuchel didn't factor into the decision Wednesday against Texas, allowing five runs on eight hits and a walk across four innings. He struck out four.

    Advice: Keuchel was acquired from the Mariners' minor-league system earlier this week and was immediately brought up for Wednesday's start. However, he had issues limiting power in his first MLB appearance of 2024, surrendering back-to-back home runs to Nathaniel Lowe and Jonah Heim in the fourth inning. While Wednesday's outing didn't do much to inspire confidence, fantasy managers should have some patience with the former Cy Young winner considering Milwaukee's proficiency in pitcher development.
