On the downside, McArthur has managed just 4:4 K:BB this month over 10 appearances (nine innings) and hasn't recorded a strikeout in either of his last two outings.       Advice: Wacha loaded the bases in the second inning after walking two batters and hitting another one with a pitch, but the right-hander was able to work his way out of the jam and didn't surrender a run until the fifth when Daniel Schneemann got him for sac fly. Unfortunately for Wacha, he was still unable to walk away with the win for the fourth consecutive start, despite allowing two or fewer runs in each of those outings.       Advice: Lively was sharp for most of the contest and didn't allow a runner to reach second until the fifth inning when Nick Loftin walked, then advanced on a steal. Unfortunately for the right-hander, his luck would run out in the following frame after he surrendered back-to-back triples to open things up, which eventually led to two runs coming home for Kansas City. It marked Lively's first quality start this month and he's now allowed two or fewer runs in six of his last seven outings.       De La Cruz went 3-for-5 with an RBI triple, a run scored and a stolen base in Thursday's win over St. Louis.

      Advice: De La Cruz kicked things off for Cincinnati with an RBI triple in the first to score Jonathan India. The star shortstop would then add another two singles in the contest, giving him his fifth three-hit performance this month, and third in his last six games. Over that latter stretch De La Cruz is batting .464 (13-for-28) with two homers, four RBI and seven runs scored.       Advice: The only runs charged to Abbott on the night came on a two-run homer from Nolan Arenado in the bottom of the third, as the lefty managed to pitch his way out of trouble the rest of the time despite issuing a season-high six free passes. Abbott has now won four of his last five starts, though he finishes the month of June with 15 walks, compared to just six in May.       Mikolas (6-7) was hit with the loss against the Reds on Thursday, allowing 10 runs (nine earned) on 12 hits and one walk over 4.1 inning. He struck out one.

      Advice: Things got ugly in a hurry for Mikolas as the veteran gave up runs in each of the first five innings before finally being relieved by John King with one out in the fifth. The nine earned runs allowed easily marked a season high for the right-hander, as did the 12 hits he surrendered. Mikolas had gone at least six innings in six consecutive starts coming in, allowing three or fewer runs in five of those outings. The 22-year-old top prospect, who went 3-for-5 with an RBI and three runs scored on Thursday evening, should be rostered in all fantasy formats as a potential four-category impact contributor. There aren’t a ton of questions regarding the talent and he has a clear path to everyday at-bats at the hot corner moving forward with Christian Encarnacion-Strand out for the season.       Kopech struck out one while not allowing a hit or a walk during the ninth inning Thursday to pick up the save against Atlanta.

      Advice: A fielding error is all that prevented a 1-2-3 outing from Kopech, who collected his first save since May 15 after having blown his previous three opportunities. Kopech carries an impressive K/9 rate of 13.0, collecting 48 strikeouts over 33.1 innings. However, he's also allowed 48 batters to reach base (1.44 WHIP), including allowing 1.9 homers and 5.1 walks per nine innings. Kopech is a piece the White Sox will strongly consider selling at the trade deadline and will look for more performances like he provided Thursday to help them maximize his price tag.
